Description of Arora International Hotel
A contemporary hotel, 10 minutes from Gatwick by car or 8 minutes by train using the Aroras direct platform access. In the hotel is the Energie Fitness Club which offers 50 high quality exercise stations and there is also an internet cafe in the main atrium. Dinner inclusive packages will include a 2 course meal from a set menu. Inclusive parking will be on site at the hotel.

Family of 4 Rooms have two queen-size double beds and a sofa, in-room climate control, TV with satellite channels, telephone with voicemail, hairdryer, trouser press, iron and board, large safe and tea/coffee making facilities. All bathrooms have walk in shower and a separate bath.

Stayed the night before flying out of Gatwick. Had to leave early so booked a taxi to the airport which arrived early. Nice hotel with helpful staff. Rang the hotel once I arrived back at Gatwick and minibus collected us 45 minutes later as agreed.

Plus: They didn't take my car keys from me so the car stayed where it was, whilst I went off on my hols. Hotels that provide on-site parking are as rare as hen's teeth. Reception staff were very professional and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Minus: I emailed ahead of my stay, pleading (literally!) for a quiet room as far away as possible from the event rooms. I was allocated a room overlooking the event rooms, On this night a very noisy wedding reception. Seriously Aurora, how hard can it be? It took 25 mins to get 2 x coffees from the 24 hour bar/coffee shop that evening. One member of staff to handle all hotel customers as well as everyone attending the wedding reception. Mmm...! I took the last but one parking space so I've no idea what I would've done if all the spaces had been taken, I didn't see any signs whilst I was driving around the car park. I was not made aware that I needed to book the shuttle transfers to and from the airport; the impression given during the booking process was that the transfer buses would run regardless.

Excellent hotel, at a very reasonable price would reccomend tho that you choose to take the bus transfer for the airport as the train service was shocking, (thru no fault of the hotel i may add)

The Hotel was comfortable and staff helpful. Considering its location it was comparatively quiet too! Avoid the train link to and from Gatwick if you have luggage as this was a nightmare, stick to a cab.

The hotel and parking package was good value. The Arora hotel room was clean and comfortable and the hotel facilities were good. I've stayed overnight near Gatwick many times for an early flight the next day and this was my best choice yet.

What a friendly professional and efficient hotel. Perfect location good links by shuttle but was amazed you can just walk through a gate and pick up a train straight to Gatwick for about the same price.Would definitely use again. Rooms were well appointed and spotless as were the bathrooms. Didn't sample the food as was only staying for a few hours but the local town is walking distance and there are many options for eating there.

Very close to Gatwick by train or cab Comfortable hotel - no problems with parking and the car park was covered. Car Key did not need to be left with the hotel which meant that the car could not be moved

Lovely modern hotel, nice rooms & well located for local pubs/restaurants, plus a linked walkway to the station with 2 stops to Gatwick. (15 minutes & £3-20 each way) We stayed the night before a flight & included with 15 days parking in the rate it worked out cheaper than just parking alone. Safe underground car park at the hotel too. Excellent value. Would definitely use again.

Hotel and restaurant good. Underground parking good. Bus service returning from airport to collect car poor. Phoned hotel and waited 45 minutes for bus and it didn't turn up. After phoning the hotel again, they wanted us to wait another hour for the next one as it is only an hourly service. Not acceptable after a 10 hour flight overnight which had also been delayed.

Nice hotel just a shame guest services fell short on this occasion. Given room that did not lock and were made to wait whilst duty manager rather than simply move us to another room as they eventually after an hour they at my insistence finally did. Not what you want after a long day travelling. Hardly as much as a apology and something will take up with manager on return from holiday. Third stay here but likely to be last!!

Good standard of hotel. All facilities needed for overnight stay. Convenient transfers to/from airport. Tip: if returning when hotel's transport not available, still contact hotel from airport and they will put you through to a taxi company for the best fare.

Directions for
From the M23 exit at junction 10 taking the A2011 to Crawley. At the first roundabout take the second exit towards the town centre. At the second roundabout take the first exit towards the County Mall. At the both sets of traffic lights proceed straight over; the County Mall should be on your right. Go straight under the Railway Bridge, and the hotel is on your right.
By Rail: The hotel is right next to Crawley train station - there's a gate from the platform into the hotel - so that's how we'd recommend getting to the airport. There's a train from Crawley station every 15 minutes between 5am and midnight, and the journey takes just eight minutes. Tickets cost about £3.
