Description of Arora International Hotel

A contemporary hotel, 10 minutes from Gatwick by car or 8 minutes by train using the Aroras direct platform access. In the hotel is the Energie Fitness Club which offers 50 high quality exercise stations and there is also an internet cafe in the main atrium. Dinner inclusive packages will include a 2 course meal from a set menu. Inclusive parking will be on site at the hotel.

Enjoyed the Arora no problems at all. Food excellent, room clean and comfortable parking fine and customer service excellent. Only niggle was cost of taxi Â£12 to the airport and then Â£15.50 on the way back. Quite costly and different charges in each direction with the same company. Had to use taxi as hotel bus was full.

Excellent service for our arrival and overnight stay. Exceptionally good evening meal and breakfast before our departure. Shuttle transfers to and from airport swift and on time. On our return, to hotel reception dealt with the issue of our exit card from the car park and we were able to get a light sack and drink before we set off home, Staff throughout were courteous and attentive, Certainly give it our strongest recommendation

Excellent hotel, for the start of a holiday, parking on site, with a quick 10 minute taxi ride to Gatwick.(use metro Â£10.50) or train station on site. Beautiful spacious room/bathroom. Nice bar for eats and drinks or easy to walk into Cawley 5 mins for bars/ restaurants. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is situated right next to Crawley railway station and is accessed by a gate off the platform - super convenient. Check-in was efficient and I was asked which floor I would prefer. The room was large and comfy, with a spotlessly clean bathroom. Reception arranged an early morning taxi transfer to the airport.

Having stayed at the Arora several times we booked a one night stay with 15 days parking prior to an early flight from Gatwick. The check-in was very straightforward and the staff were very friendly. The room was very comfortable, with tea/coffee making facilities and the bathroom was furnished to a high standard. The reason for only giving 4 stars is the expensive food in the bar/restaurant so we always go into Crawley to eat.

Great hotel, very modern. Very relaxing way to spend the first night before travelling on holiday! Car stays on site. Rooms very clean and spacious and very well equipped. 10 minute taxi ride to Gatwick, Â£9 for this or there is a train station on site. The hotel also offers a transfer service, depending on flight time! Looking forward to using this hotel again in the future!

Nice hotel with comfortable, quiet rooms. Hotel staff were wonderful when we arrived back from holiday and couldn't start the car due to the battery being dead. A cleaner saw that we were having trouble and he went to find maintenance who came with a set of jump leads and managed to get the car started so thank you very much for your help. My only criticism would be that there are only a set of stairs between the underground car park and the hotel reception - no ramp or lift. We followed the signs to the car park on arrival and so missed the drop off area at the front of the hotel and so had to lug the suitcases up the stairs. Same on departure.

This is a great hotel for the price, both comfy and clean. The staff were friendly and efficient. We didn't use the restaurant, but it did seem to be a bit on the expensive side. We did use the airport shuttle, though. Our driver was very friendly and chatty, which made the journey a pleasure! The Â£3.50 cost was fairly standard, so no complaints there. The only downside was the 45 minute wait for the shuttle to pick us up on our return. It only runs on request, which involves a phonecall which you can only make when you are through baggage pickup, and therefore ready to leave. After a long haul flight we really didn't need an extra hour added to an already long journey before we could even pick up our car. All in all, though, this is a great hotel choice, and we would definitely stay there again.

Directions for

From the M23 exit at junction 10 taking the A2011 to Crawley. At the first roundabout take the second exit towards the town centre. At the second roundabout take the first exit towards the County Mall. At the both sets of traffic lights proceed straight over; the County Mall should be on your right. Go straight under the Railway Bridge, and the hotel is on your right.

By Rail: The hotel is right next to Crawley train station - there's a gate from the platform into the hotel - so that's how we'd recommend getting to the airport. There's a train from Crawley station every 15 minutes between 5am and midnight, and the journey takes just eight minutes. Tickets cost about £3.

I am looking for a late check in on the Friday 28th August this week, with stay to Sunday 30th August.
