Description of Holiday Inn in Gatwick

Holiday Inn Gatwick Airport is just five minutes from the Airport. There's an excellent range of facilities and services for business and leisure travellers, inc. Free High Speed Internet Access. Family rooms have plenty of space and kids under 13 eat for free. Shuttle service runs 24 hours, every 15 mins 5am and midnight, every 30 mins through the night.

Rooms

All rooms have en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee tray, interactive TV, free high speed internet access, radio, trouser press and hair dryer. Day rooms available. Family rooms for 4 will consist of a double bed and a double sofa bed.

Parking Arrangements

Drive to rear of hotel and park in short term parking. If you have booked the standard parking package your car will usually be parked on site in the hotel car park, however at very busy times, at the hotels discretion, your car may be moved off site to Maple Manor Parking. You must leave your keys at reception when checking in. Vehicles are left at owners risk.

Additional Days Parking Charge

Additional days parking are subject to availability and charged by the hotel at £16.00 per day

Airport Transfer Details

The Shuttle Bus runs 24 hours per day every 15 minutes and every half hour from midnight to 5am to both terminals.

Transfers are charged at £3.00 per adult and £1.50 per child each way, (under 5's free). Taxis can be arranged for approx £6 each way.

Eating & Drinking

The Restaurant offers a Carvery and an A la Carte Menu. Set Menu is £20 for 3 courses. (Menus can change depending on the volume of business, please check the offer proposed on the day). Light meals and snacks are available in the Hub Bar and Lounge area.

Breakfast Charges

Full English breakfast is £15.95 per person, FHR clients can purchase voucher at reception to get special £12 per person rate. Between 6am and 10am.

The room at Holiday Inn Gatwick was really pleasant. We used this service as we had a 5:40am flight so we were able to have a little more sleep before leaving for our holiday. However it also included 2 weeks parking with total price being lower than 2 weeks parking at any of the 'local' conventional parking companies sites. This hotel also had a 24 hour bus link and when I say 24 hour I really mean it, buses every 30 mins between midnight and 5 am and 15 mins rest of day. This is a lot better than most airport bus linked options. The only issue I had was after picking up my car on the way home I went to use my satnav to discover they had seemingly broken my airvent mount, when home I was able to fix it but as it had not ever come apart of lose before they must had been really quite violent with it to make it come apart. Still all worked out in the end.

Very good very easy straight forward nice place to stay clean we arrived back to a fire outside the airport doors (a coach) but it was no hassle being rerooted to another bus stop found us easily and took us to hotel where we collected car def use again

Again we stayed and parked at Holiday Inn Gatwick. The check in, check out and parking arrangements were first class. The room was fine with everything one needs. The bus transfers were excellent. Overall, extremely pleased with the customer service and value for money.

Rooms are clean and standard hotel size. Always swift check-in. Easy car parking and secure. Food is good and reasonably priced. Bus transfer every 15mins and £3 each way is good value. It's expensive getting a last minute room. It's an airport hotel so don't expect anything too extravagant.

The staff were quite rude I was not served in turn at reception and when I checked in the receptionist didn't tell me where my room or the lift were. There was no cot which I had requested and I was expected to carry four suitcases and get a baby, pushchair and toddler up to the room without being offered assistance. The room was small and dated.

Approaching from M25 and M23 Motorway,leave M23 at junction 9, towards Gatwick Airport.Continue over the next roundabout, Do Not Enter Gatwick Airport, but follow the signs to Redhill and Crawley A23.Turn right at next roundabout and join A23(Redhill and Crawley)from the slip road.At the next roundabout continue straight across and the Holiday Inn Gatwick is directly on the left hand side after the roundabout.
