Description of Holiday Inn in Gatwick

Holiday Inn Gatwick Airport is just five minutes from the Airport. There's an excellent range of facilities and services for business and leisure travellers, inc. Free High Speed Internet Access. Family rooms have plenty of space and kids under 13 eat for free. Shuttle service runs 24 hours, every 15 mins 5am and midnight, every 30 mins through the night.

Rooms

All rooms have en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee tray, interactive TV, free high speed internet access, radio, trouser press and hair dryer. Day rooms available. Family rooms for 4 will consist of a double bed and a double sofa bed.

There are four suitable rooms in the hotel, available on request. Please advise at the time of booking.

Parking Arrangements

Drive to rear of hotel and park in short term parking. If you have booked the standard parking package your car will usually be parked on site in the hotel car park, however at very busy times, at the hotels discretion, your car may be moved off site to Maple Manor Parking. You must leave your keys at reception when checking in. Vehicles are left at owners risk.

Additional Days Parking Charge

Additional days parking are subject to availability and charged by the hotel at £16.00 per day

Airport Transfer Details

The Shuttle Bus runs 24 hours per day every 15 minutes and every half hour from midnight to 5am to both terminals.

Transfers are charged at £3.00 per adult and £1.50 per child each way, (under 5's free). Taxis can be arranged for approx £6 each way.

Eating & Drinking

The Restaurant offers a Carvery and an A la Carte Menu. Set Menu is £20 for 3 courses. (Menus can change depending on the volume of business, please check the offer proposed on the day). Light meals and snacks are available in the Hub Bar and Lounge area.

Breakfast Charges

Full English breakfast is £15.95 per person, FHR clients can purchase voucher at reception to get special £12 per person rate. Between 6am and 10am.

A well run hotel. The 8 days parking was very efficient with the car ready for us to drive away at 7am, even though it was minus 5 degrees!! The room was good, clean and with good facilities. The bar area was good and the restaurant food was fine although not fantastic. Excellent value for money. Very close to the airport and so easy to get the very regular bus service.

I arrived after dark, and there was no one to help me with the parking. I was relieved on my return. to find that though my car had been moved,I found it safe , with the instructions that were given me, when I collected the keys

I have used this hotel and parking service 4 or 5 times. I park in the disabled bays and on my return my car is always parked back there ready for me to collect.

Convenient to North Terminal. Room good. Restaurant - unhelpful supervisor who told us that the kitchen was about to close (this was at 9.50pm) even though restaurant times indicated restaurant open to 10.30pm. Eating experience salvaged by very nice, friendly waitress.

We always stay at the holiday inn as we know the reception staff are quick. efficient and friendly. We also like the restaurant as they have a nice selection of dishes on the menu to suit most people.

Bus and reception service all. Good but room shabby. I booked a room for 4 adults and it was a double bed and small sofa bed. My son had to sleep in the bath. Car parking was good. Only worth it if you have early flights and other hotels may be better

could not fault the hotel or parking, we were flying from the north terminal at Gatwick, the bus G1 G3 & G7 ran on time and so often we did not have a wait going to the airport or coming back, which is very important after a long journey, everything went smoothly, our car was moved to the front of the hotel on our return and keys waiting at reception, will definitely book this for our next trip - well done on cost too FHR

Everything went well,the only problem was retrieving car on return . I took a while finding car and had to return to reception to ask directions again. Of course this may be due to the effects of the long flight,but I think the receptionist could have been a bit clearer with instructions. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

Approaching from M25 and M23 Motorway,leave M23 at junction 9, towards Gatwick Airport.Continue over the next roundabout, Do Not Enter Gatwick Airport, but follow the signs to Redhill and Crawley A23.Turn right at next roundabout and join A23(Redhill and Crawley)from the slip road.At the next roundabout continue straight across and the Holiday Inn Gatwick is directly on the left hand side after the roundabout.
