On arrival the barrier did not rise. Upon contacting an operative it was stated that they had no record of my booking, however a token was issued and entrance gained. No problem on leaving the car park

About a 10 min walk to the main terminal building. Car park easy to find despite more warnings signs about stopping as East Midlands Airport only concerned about getting as much money out of motorist as possible. In the wet the path to the building does flood.

On arrival we cauld not get through the barrrier so had to press the button because it was dark pressed the wrong button spoke to the help line who assured us to go to the machine on our way back and explain we did this and was assured again it would not charge us and would recognise our number plate but it didn’t so again we had to speak to the help line but apart from this directions were fine and the situation was solved quickly

The booking service was clear and simple. The barrier recognition worked first time both on arrival and departure. Mid stay 2 car park appears to be the furthest walk to the departures. However this is only a short walk but the walking path tarmac could do with re-laying as it is very uneven and bumpy. Overall I would book this car park again

Easy to book, good price for somewhere so close to the terminal (walking distance, although the paths at East Mids Airport aren't the easiest to pull your suitcases along, they need resurfacing, but that's down to the airport, not the car park). Easy entrance and exit by number plate recognition.

Fantastic, couldn’t be easier! Simple to book and great price compared to other websites, the Mid stay 2 is about 5 mins walk from EMA departures (only criticism is that the pathways are awful! Really uneven and bumpy so incredibly difficult to navigate in the dark with 2 big suitcases but this is not car parks fault!! EMA sort it out!) entry/exit to car park number plate recognition so no problems at! We we delayed due to storms across the Atlantic and we weren’t charged any extra! I would strongly recommend this service and will be using it again in the future for sure! Thank you

Directions for Mid Stay 2
You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.During hot weather we recommend that removing all alcohol-based hand sanitiser products from vehicles when they are not occupied as they pose a risk of igniting and causing a fire.
On entrance to the airport from the A453, turn left at the roundabout and follow signs to OTHER CAR PARKS. At the following roundabout take the first exit and follow signs for MID STAY CAR PARKS, follow signs to Mid stay car park 2.
On arrival at the car park:
Drive up to the entrance barrier for your chosen car park and stop
The Automatic Number Plate Recognition system (ANPR) will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you and subsequently open the barrier to allow you entry
Please DO NOT press for a ticket to gain access to the car park, as this is not required and doing so will disable the ANPR system in relation to your booking
On exiting the car park:
Proceed straight to the exit barrier and stop
The ANPR system will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you (which will be the ref. starting EH in the comments section of your voucher) and subsequently open the barrier to allow you exit
Please DO NOT in any circumstance insert your credit card or debit card into the barrier as a further payment
