What is the drop-off procedure?

Park in one of the bays outside the reception, then head inside to the check in desk . Show your confirmation and the staff will allocate you a parking space and you will be given a receipt. You can then take your keys or if you prefer you can leave your keys if you prefer. The courtesy bus service will then take you to Bus Stand 7 at the terminal to the terminal.

What is the pick-up procedure?

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.

What security measures does the car park have?

The driver of the transfer bus could not have been more helpful. The comoany staff are polite, the transfers are quick and efficient and the car park itself, secure. A bit difficult to find though which is the only problem!

my phone contact with yourselves was excellent! Our transfer was also excellent with a happy driver on the way there and also back - didnt catch his name but you can find it as we were at port 11 at 1030ish and lead contact name was Grant - - will book with you guys again defo !!!!!!

I went to The Flying Scot Car Park first as it is in the same location. I was told that Low Cost Parking is the sister company of the Flying Scot. I found it quite difficult to find, directions could be clearer and there was a large pothole at the entrance which made my suspension judder. They should fill this in. However, I arrived at 4am and the staff were very professional and courteous for that time in the morning. Very helpful and took me to airport immediately, no hanging about. THe driver was very quick and efficient which was appreciated as I was by this time late for my flight. He let me off at the Departure Lounge instead of the bus bay which was a time saviour for me. Definetly would use again now that I know where they are. Cheapest around!!

Great value, great service. Brought a car and bus was already waiting. On the way back, the bus came to pick us up exactly when we needed, no waiting at all. Will use again for sure.

Car Park is only a few minutes away from the Airport. The transfer bus arrived shortly after we had booked in and although we were the only passengers we were taken to the Airport straight away. When we returned the bus was at the pick up point within 3 minutes. Excellent service.

When I got back I phoned in and was told to make my way to stand 11 and the bus would be there in a couple of minutes. I proceeded there and a few minutes later the bus turned up quickly followed by another as quite a few travellers had arrived for transportation, we got on the first bus and went to scotpark when my car was at low cost car park, just a small thing not a complaint in any way the driver was excellent about it and it only took a few extra minutes but maybe sort that sort of thing out before we leave the stand. Cheers for the transfers and I will have no hesitation in using or recommending the car park or FHR 👍

Arrival Procedure

You can leave your keys and your car will be parked for you, or you can park yourself if you'd prefer

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

From the Newbridge roundabout:
Take turnoff for McDonalds (Clifton Hall Road) take 1st left into Harvest Road and go under the bridge and then take 1st left for Ratho Station (Harvest Drive) follow the road around for 400 yds and take 1st left into Queen Anne Drive and pass the Newbridge Bond and the car park entrance is straight ahead.
Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommended check-in time.

From Edinburgh and east
Take the Glasgow road heading for the Newbridge roundabout- just before the walk over bridge take 1st left into Ratho Station -take 2nd right into Station Road and then 1st Right into Queen Anne Drive ( just at SSE ) and the car park entrance is straight ahead.

Please note the transfer buses are not accessible by wheelchairs.

On return

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.
