What is the drop-off procedure?

Park in one of the bays outside the reception, then head inside to the check in desk . Show your confirmation and the staff will allocate you a parking space and you will be given a receipt. You can then take your keys or if you prefer you can leave your keys if you prefer. The courtesy bus service will then take you to Bus Stand 7 at the terminal to the terminal.

What is the pick-up procedure?

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.

What security measures does the car park have?

The route avoided the by pass and busy roads. Cheapest, friendliest so far and no waiting time for buses. Car ready running and heated on cold evening on our return. We will be back. Thank you.

I was very impressed with the service I received. On arrival I was greeted by a very pleasant lady who soon assisted me with my paperwork. I had parked the car by the reception area and was to hand the key to the lady once I had cleared the car. I had expected to be told where to park but all I had to do was leave the key. Fantastic! The transfer was instant and I was at the airport in now time. A very good service. On return, my plane had been delayed due to the weather and I was approx 15 minutes late. I thought this may cause a problem or prompt further payment, but no, on my arrival I was handed my key and my car was by reception and I was soon off. Unfortunately another customer was informed that his car had not started. The gentleman who was working that night could not have been more helpful. I was very impressed with this service, I think it is very good value for money and would use this company again in the future. The initial communication was good when booking and very competitive with the price.

This is an 'extra' Flying Scot car park, so there is some confusion with the transfer coaches--Low Cost or Flying Scot? The coaches are marked Flying Scot. No great problem, just a moment or two of wondering how it's working.

I think it would be helpful to give customers a realistic idea of time required from arriving at your reception to getting to check-in, especially during rush-hour. I, like many other infrequent fliers, cut the timing fine and a short delay with the transfer almost made us miss the flight. Otherwise great service and won't hesitate to use you again, only I'll be more realistic in timing the journey.

after being delayed by the ever reliable ryanair it was great 2 see the minibus waiting for us at the terminal the driver even reconised us and was very helpful

I have used this company before, and this time it was Fast, friendly and efficient, as usual. The same company also owns Flying Scot, so we had a minor detour there on the transfer bus, but not a problem as there was no waiting time. I'll use Low Cost Parking again.

This car park is perfect if you are staying the night before your flight in the Travelodge at Ratho Station - the car park is only 2/3 minutes drive round the corner. Transfers to and from the airport were no problem at all. As other reviewers have mentioned, our car was ready and warm upon our return, which meant no hanging around on a cold February night!

Directions for Low Cost Parking

Arrival Procedure

You can leave your keys and your car will be parked for you, or you can park yourself if you'd prefer

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

From the Newbridge roundabout:
Take turnoff for McDonalds (Clifton Hall Road) take 1st left into Harvest Road and go under the bridge and then take 1st left for Ratho Station (Harvest Drive) follow the road around for 400 yds and take 1st left into Queen Anne Drive and pass the Newbridge Bond and the car park entrance is straight ahead.
Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommended check-in time.

From Edinburgh and east
Take the Glasgow road heading for the Newbridge roundabout- just before the walk over bridge take 1st left into Ratho Station -take 2nd right into Station Road and then 1st Right into Queen Anne Drive ( just at SSE ) and the car park entrance is straight ahead.

Please note the transfer buses are not accessible by wheelchairs.

On return

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.
