What is the drop-off procedure?

Park in one of the bays outside the reception, then head inside to the check in desk . Show your confirmation and the staff will allocate you a parking space and you will be given a receipt. You can then take your keys or if you prefer you can leave your keys if you prefer. The courtesy bus service will then take you to Bus Stand 7 at the terminal to the terminal.

What is the pick-up procedure?

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.

Difficult to find as directions miss a left turn - there are 3, not 2 - driver on first transfer thought he was in a Grand Prix car not a van, on return first bus full, got on second bus then had to change to a third bus at another car park with no explanation. On return car was parked on stones, not gravel but stones, not what I expected. Cheap but you get what you pay for.

Mostly good but being a more busy time it took longer than expected to reach the airport. at busier times 2 mins is not a realistic time and when booking this should be made much clearer to customers. Not your fault the car park is on the opposite side of the dual carriage way to the airport but it does have an effect on the time to get to the airport.

Directions did not allow for the main road closure making this hard to find using up value able time looking so had to use another car park .Would have been cheaper and easier had I used the parking at the airport.

perfect in every way, nice welcome on arrival and only had to wait 10 mins for the bus , is a little further from the airport than other car parks but the price is cheaper , would not hesistate to use again .

We had a mini valet and came back to find black dye was splattered all over the back of our white car, it ended up costing us an hour of our time getting it sorted when all we wanted to do was get home. The staff tried hard and aprt from that all ok

Poor directions to car park On arrival nobody at reception - ?bloke asleep - phoned outside line and told to toot horn - tired-looking bloke appeared - no explanation or apology No wheelchair access on to shuttle bus - major inconvenience x2

Very convenient for the airport. On arrival use phone in terminal building to advise you have arrived and then go outside to coach area and get transfer.... Takes 10 minutes at the most. Very pleasant staff.

Very poor service on return especially early hours of morning when you just want to be oin the road to get home after a long day.In excess of 50 persons waiting for transfers only 2 mini buses

We were waiting at stand 11 as agreed after picking up our baggage.There were 3buses came and left to go to the Flying Scot and none for our car park.The same driver came back twice,left to go to Flying Scot and only picked us up on his third time back.Another driver stopped but was also going to Flying Scot so it was only on 4th attempt we got a bus going to our car park.Very unprofessional to have us wait 30mins for our pick up.Dissapointing.

Easy to book online,when we arrived we left car and keys with staff jumped on the mini-bus, off to the airport and on return, called to let them know I had landed, told to go to stand and mini-bus was there, so back to the car park and my car waiting - job done, 10 out of 10.

Fast, friendly and efficient service at the office when parking and picking up the car. There was a around a twenty minute wait outside at the bus stop which was a little frustrating considering a long flight and the fact it was half past one in the morning and therefore cold. The transfers to and from the airport where quick however. Overall i would recommend this service to anyone travelling from Edinburgh.

Directions for Low Cost Parking

Arrival Procedure

You can leave your keys and your car will be parked for you, or you can park yourself if you'd prefer

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

From the Newbridge roundabout:
Take turnoff for McDonalds (Clifton Hall Road) take 1st left into Harvest Road and go under the bridge and then take 1st left for Ratho Station (Harvest Drive) follow the road around for 400 yds and take 1st left into Queen Anne Drive and pass the Newbridge Bond and the car park entrance is straight ahead.
Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommended check-in time.

From Edinburgh and east
Take the Glasgow road heading for the Newbridge roundabout- just before the walk over bridge take 1st left into Ratho Station -take 2nd right into Station Road and then 1st Right into Queen Anne Drive ( just at SSE ) and the car park entrance is straight ahead.

Please note the transfer buses are not accessible by wheelchairs.

On return

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.


All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.
