On return were told courtesy bus would be with us in 7/8 minutes. We waited in cold wind and sleet for over 20 minutes. I then found my car parked over a 2in deep puddle which soaked my feet getting in to car.

We were kept waiting on our outward journey and eventually got to the airport 25 minutes later which was a worry as it impacted on our 2 hours before flight requirement. Everything was better on our return.

You get what you pay for. On the way out we had no help loading our bags in to or out of the bus. On the way back there was a long wait but the driver (Eastern European) was great. he helped with the bags and was just more pleasant than the driver who took us on the outbound journey.

On the way out I had no difficulties. I had to wait 35 minutes for the bus to appear on the way back. On a cold night that was far to long. Other providers were not that long

We have used Low Cost parking many times, 3 times this year, On our return waiting in the rain for 45 min I feel was unexceptable, being told by the transport transfer drivers, that they were only picking up the blue ticket holders this happened 3 times after having a good holiday coming home to the rain and cold was bad enough, but waiting 45 min was unexceptable. No explanation to the difference in the colors ours was orange? tried to contact Low cost but no reply. the longest we have waited fo transfer transport was 7 mins. unsure at this time if well re book.

Must be the worst car park in Edinburgh tried to call went straight to answering machine had to wait 45minutes before the bus came then dropped off people who were hiring cars!! what is that all about? will not be using them ever again

Parking was fine, although I would prefer to park my own vehicle and retain my keys. My car has an electronic parking brake, if I hadn’t still been there god knows what damage would have been done as the young guy who jumped in to move it pretty much pressed every button in a hope to disengage it, park assist was on, sport mode engaged and auto hold and ESA turned off..... I opened the door and said.... put your seatbelt on.... that turns it off. I also think the time we waited when arriving at Edinburgh was far too long, 30mins from call to pickup... even people standing there were unhappy and they were there before us. I probably won’t book this location again.

I prefer to use Low Cost in Edinburgh, although it is a little further out than other car parks. The big advantage from my perspective is you don't have to waste time trying to find a parking space (and possibly get soaked in the process), you just drive up to reception and leave your keys (so no possibility of loss on your trip) and your car is right there on your return. The only downside is that their bus takes a little longer to appear than their other company Flying Scot.

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.
From the Newbridge roundabout:
Take turnoff for McDonalds (Clifton Hall Road) take 1st left into Harvest Road and go under the bridge and then take 1st left for Ratho Station (Harvest Drive) follow the road around for 400 yds and take 1st left into Queen Anne Drive and pass the Newbridge Bond and the car park entrance is straight ahead.
Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommended check-in time.
From Edinburgh and east
Take the Glasgow road heading for the Newbridge roundabout- just before the walk over bridge take 1st left into Ratho Station -take 2nd right into Station Road and then 1st Right into Queen Anne Drive ( just at SSE ) and the car park entrance is straight ahead.
Please note the transfer buses are not accessible by wheelchairs.
On return
On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.
All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.
