Always use this car park when flying from Edinburgh. This time decided to extend trip by 10 days. No way to simply extend original booking online. Had to create new booking for extension period. Did this but on trying to exit car park was held with a message that I owed £220. Called and gave new booking reference. After search and querying my registration finally agreed and lifted barrier. Not a big issue but annoying after a long flight at 2am. Surely time to update your system to enable extension to original booking online that would alleviate this problem on exiting car park.

Arrived at Plane Parking @04.45am, to find it closed, as per advise on the booking, entered the long stay car park, on return, entered my ticket into machine at he barrier, up pops the message â£150 due on this ticketâ, shock horror, called the assistance button, chap comes on, tells him my story, asks for FHR reference number, cleared the amount, lifted the barrier. But why was Plane Parking closed?.

In terms of value for money and proximity to the airport, this is the best parking choice at Edinburgh. That said, it may not be quite such a good choice in rain or snow as itâs a ten minute walk.

I always use your car park abs never have a complaint also recommend yous to my friend and family but Iâm holiday got cancelled 10 days before I was due to fly so I changed the parking as was now going for 7 days instead of 5 I mistakenly booked it for 01.35 on 13 may arriving back when it was actually 14 may my mistake yes but a genuine one I was getting charged £40 at gate going home spoke to someone on phone he eventually brought it down to £14.50 but I would like for this to have been waivered it was a genuine mistake in my part

Got ticket parked car walked to terminal. On return walked to car drove to exit put ticket in machine barrier opened. That simple! Good price easy to book. What more can you ask.

Cars double parked over the entire car park. The car park surface is completely shot and cases wheels lucky to survive the dragging over over the extremely overly worn surface. Access / exits for walking passengers very poorly makes especially returning from the Terminal. Exhausting walk dragging suitcases. A wholly unwelcome experience - would rather have paid double to be closer to terminal. The removal of the hop-on bus from this car park has been a terrible decision. Get the buses back - traumatic 15 minutes of dragging cases over a completely rough and worn car park. Horrific experience.

Was quite a long walk from airport but easy to park and very safe. Slight problem on leaving when they tried to charge me - someone had entered my car reg wrongly. Others were having same problem so assume it was at Airport not FHR.

NEW LOCATION FROM JUNE 2022 - 10 MIN TRANSFER - BUSES EVERY 12 MINUTESPlease note: Postcode EH12 9DN is for the airport, please ensure you follow the below directions or use GPS coordinates 55.946071, -3.346477
Located at the Airport with great views of the East runway.
Catch the bus to the terminal. Buses run every 12 mins, and drops-off and picks up at East Terminus.
Coming from the A8 Glasgow Road, along Eastfield Road, follow the signs for Edinburgh Airport and at the roundabout at the Moxy / DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel turn right, and take the third exit
Go past the car rental centre and over the tram tracks
Once over the tram tracks, there is another roundabout. Take the third exit and continue along the road following signs for Plane Parking.
On arrival
Drive up to the barriers and the ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) system will read your vehicle registration number and automatically issue you with a ticket. The ticket will show your vehicle registration number, and this will correspond to the booking details we have for you on our system.
Once parked, please make your way to one of the two Plane Parking bus stops located within the car park.
The free shuttle bus arrives once every 12 minutes, with a short 10 minute journey to the terminal.
Customers who require PRM assistance should contact airport services, for assistance on arrival day.
Departure:
To exit the car park, drive up the barrier and insert your ticket. The system will check your details and the barrier will open. If there are any problems, press the intercom button to talk to our staff.
Make sure you have a copy of your booking confirmation with you.
Please note - don't turn off early and park in NCP Scotpark as this is not an Edinburgh Airport car park and your booking won't be valid.
At the discretion of the car park you will have a 2 hour grace period prior to arrival and a 2 hour grace period on return. If you pick your car up early, we can't give you a refund.
If you arrive or depart outside your booking period, you will incur an additional charge based on Edinburgh Airport's standard short stay tariff, currently £40 per day or part thereof (subject to change)

If you know in advance of your return that you do need to park for longer than your pre-booked period, you can also book the additional days ad times on the web site. You must make sure you book for the same car park. On return press the buzzer and quote both booking reference numbers.
