What else do I need to know?

Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommend check-in time *** The reception area at Cophall is wheelchair friendly and they have a disabled toilet on site, however although wheelchairs can be transferred on the bus, passengers would need to be able to step up into the bus. You will be required to leave your keys with Reception. LWB - Long wheelbase vans that measure over 5.3m are charged double. Please note LWB's may not be accepted in the Summer months. Please check availability and pricing by email or phone. Motorbikes are accepted

Process was very simple. I booked the day before I flew and the price was by far the lowest I found. Arrived and dropped off the keys and was taken to the airport within 10 minutes. I noticed the person who moved my car went round checking the wheels and paint for any marks. My car has no imperfections, but he did note something down, so perhaps it was just an observation that there were no marks. Arrived back in the UK and called up the number for a pick up and was picked up within 15 minutes and taken back. Car was waiting, so I picked up my keys and was on my way. I did notice when I got back that there was a small scuff mark on one wheel which I'm pretty sure wasn't there before I dropped the car off, so I'm going to check against some photos I took before dropping the car off. Otherwise I'm happy. They even put my mirrors and seat back to (roughly) the right positions.

We have used Cophall parking for many years. Excellent service. honest operators. Fair price. They set the standard. It's a pity the gatwick baggage operators are so poor. They are always a disappointment.

I have used Cophall parking Gatwick on many occassions and find all the staff to be friendly and helpful; The drop off and pick up service, is quick. On returning, the pick up bus was there within 15 minutes of making the call top say we had just come through Cutstoms.

It is a good car park, very easy to find. They use transfer vans rather than busses what makes getting on and off much easier as it takes only 8 people at the time, they run on request so if one is full next will be provided. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This company feels small enough that you feel you're getting fairly personal attention. The only black mark was when I arrived and the lady on reception was somewhat unwilling to smile in spite of my best efforts although she was polite enough; it was around 4am but still. The driver was friendly, even more so on my return to the carpark after the holiday and the phone call to notify staff that I'd arrived was picked up very quickly and I was given the impression that they were expecting me - again, a feeling of personal service. Would definitely use again as long as the price remains competitive.

Excellent. Only improvement suggestion I can think of is to provide coffee/ tea. After a wait in baggage reclaim that would have been a help yesterday evening. Also there were bad traffic problems on m23 and m25. A real time traffic monitor would have been brilliant as I don't have sat nav.

Directions for Cophall Parking Gatwick

From the M23: Exit at Junction 10, following signs for East Grinstead (A264). Go straight over the first new roundabout and continue straight at the second roundabout by the Copthorne Hotel. Drive for approximately 1.5 miles (passing a petrol station on your right). At the next roundabout (Dukes Head), take the first exit signed for Lingfield (B2028). At the following roundabout, turn left onto the B2037. After approximately ¼ mile, you will pass the Curious Pig Pub on your left. The entrance to Cophall Parking Gatwick is the next turning on your right.

From the M25: Exit at Junction 7 for the M23, then follow the directions above.


If you are using a Sat-Nav, please set it for RH10 3HZ - Please allow sufficient time to complete your vehicle check-in and airport transfer.

Cophall Parking Gatwick - Bikes, Golf Clubs, Surf boards & Skis can be transferred upon request. Cophall Park & Ride also holds the Park Mark® Award for Safer Parking. At peak times your vehicle may be driven to and stored in our overflow car park by our fully insured drivers. Our overflow car park also carries the Park Mark® Award, is fully insured, has CCTV and less than 1 mile away.

Late Returns:
If your return is delayed and you park for longer than you have paid for, each extra day’s parking will be charged at £20 per day (subject to change), (or part day thereof) after your booked return date.

Do you have far to walk to your car when you return? I will be on my own and wondering if I would have to walk miles to my car with cases at 6am after an all night flightYou will collect your car from the reception area on return, so no need to go looking for it in the car park
Is a Kia Sportage considered a standard size vehicle?Yes a Kia Sportage is classed as a regular  standard type vehicle as it fits into a normal car parking space
