Upon arrival, drivers can park in one of the arrival bays and proceed to reception to check-in. The car will be parked by the staff while guests take a bus to the airport. Bookings are non-refundable and cannot be amended or cancelled.

What is the pick-up procedure?

On your return, catch the transfer bus from where you were dropped off back to the car park.

Please note that your chosen car park has a vehicle height restriction of 2.1m (7ft) and does not accept the following vehicles: mini-buses; high-sided vehicles; mobile homes; lorries; caravans or vehicles with trailers We recommend that you give yourself 45 minutes to drop your car and keys off and transfer to the airport. You will be required to leave your keys at the car park. No vans accepted at this car park.

Very welcoming on arrival and we decided to have our car valeted whilst we were away. Like all other car parks the bus drops you off at the airport and collects you when you return. Quick and easy collection of the car although the valet clean for £25 was more like a quick wash & hoover with lots of areas missed & their cleaning cloth left in the car.... I'll know not to have that next time.

Excellent door to door service. Helpful staff and smooth service when dropping off and picking up car. Approx 10 minute free bus to north terminal and approx 15 mins return from airport to park.

Purple Parking took over existing operation (AirParks) and have improved the service offered. Buses are cleaner, modern and smooth. Drop off and collection times appear improved by streamlining the procedure.

It took much longer to pick up than expected as the bus went to the south terminal after And waited there before heading to the car park. I would have paid for the CSR to be delivered if the price was less than £30 and I had had advance warning ... i.e. Emails

All went very smoothly. Close to the airport, frequent bus transfer. Only thing I would suggest is you add to your directions for finding you on return, that Arrivals is on the second floor. You mention that your pick-up is on the first floor but Gatwick don't seem to want to let us know which floor we are on!

Last time I flew from Gatwick, I used a different company. I have gone back to Purple Parking as it is so easy - you don't have to find a parking space, lug heavy bags along to a distant bus stop or remember where you parked upon your return. I would definitely recommend Purple Parking & you can't beat it on price either.

Most efficient. Not the easiest to find via Satnav with Post Code, but by using Crawley and the name of the road it took me very close to the entrance. Perhaps sign posting at various points may make it simpler! On arrival, reception was very efficient and rapid. Transport to the terminal was good but perhaps drop off could have been closer to the entrance/exit of North terminal. This is quite a walk for the elderly. I have used summer parking in the past and their PUP was right on the doorstep. Overall though, I was quite satisfied with the service given. Thank you very much!

Very helpful frequent bus service polite and friendly staff and drivers, would recommend and use again the only thing I would say is it would be brilliant if they were allowed to sign post it more because I got lost for half an hour trying to find it due to no signs until you actually reached destination

Outbound early morning there were many staff working to serve the demand. The bus was busy, but not overcrowded. The return bus trip, around 2pm, was extremely busy and with the threat of the next bus being 15 minutes, ( already waited 15), we crowded on to this bus and stood with the cases between us. At the terminal there were two staff for the bus load, and with one dealing with a problem customer the queue was out of the door and slow. We were given the key and told the aisle, but had to work out the rest for ourselves. I will make sure I book in time for my usual company next time I travel, as I felt Purple Parking was expensive for the service given.

Please be aware it is important to check traffic updates before you leave. There are long-term scheduled roadworks on the M23 near Gatwick Airport. These include overnight closures to the M23 and M23 Junction 10, that may affect your journey to the car park.

From the M23 - Junction 9:
Exit the motorway and follow the signs for Gatwick Airport.
At the motorway roundabout with traffic lights take the 2nd exit and head towards the airport.
At the next roundabout go straight over towards the North Terminal.
At the next roundabout take the 4th exit heading towards Crawley/Redhill (A23).
Join the dual carriageway and carry on until the next roundabout (Longbridge Roundabout) and take the 4th exit heading back on the A23 towards Gatwick, Brighton & Crawley.
Carry on over the next roundabout staying on the A23 Southbound.
At the 2nd roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the Old Brighton Road South (Lowfield Heath/Charlwood).
Turn left at the mini-roundabout onto Charlwood Road.
Purple Parking is located 1½ miles ahead on the right hand side.


From the M23 - Junction 10:
Exit the motorway and take the 3rd exit signposted Crawley (A2011).
At the 1st roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted A2011 for Horsham.
At the next roundabout with traffic lights take the 4th exit towards Redhill/Gatwick (A23 Northbound)
Carry on over the next roundabout following the signs for Gatwick.
At the next roundabout take the 1st exit for Lowfield Heath/Charlwood.
Turn left at the mini-roundabout onto Charlwood Road.
Purple Parking is located 1½ miles ahead on the right hand side.

If you need assistance with last minute directions please ring the number on your confirmation 7.

Park in one of the arrivals bays, take note of the number and head to reception to check in. You'll need to present a copy of your booking confirmation, drop your keys in the red box for the correct number lane and you'll be given a ticket, which you should keep safe as you'll need it later. It will also have instructions on the back for when you return.
Your car will be parked for you while you catch the bus from the waiting area to the airport. You'll need to show your ticket to the driver.
We recommend that you give yourself 45 minutes to drop your car and keys off and transfer to the airport.

Transfers operate 24 hours a day, every 20 minutes and take just 10-15 minutes.

I've used many times the parking but I'm a bit confused with the park and ride one. Can I park the car myself and keep the keys myself? You will be required to leave your keys with reception as they will park your car whilst you transfer to the airport.
