What is the drop-off procedure?

Upon arrival, drivers can park in one of the arrival bays and proceed to reception to check-in. The car will be parked by the staff while guests take a bus to the airport. Bookings are non-refundable and cannot be amended or cancelled.

What is the pick-up procedure?

On your return, catch the transfer bus from where you were dropped off back to the car park.

Please note that your chosen car park has a vehicle height restriction of 2.1m (7ft) and does not accept the following vehicles: mini-buses; high-sided vehicles; mobile homes; lorries; caravans or vehicles with trailers We recommend that you give yourself 45 minutes to drop your car and keys off and transfer to the airport. You will be required to leave your keys at the car park. No vans accepted at this car park.

The service we received on arrival was very good the car keys were taken and the car when we got onto the bus to go to the airport the driver was most helpful and help put our bags on the bus when we returned and went to meet the bus the driver just sat and watched us struggle onto the bus and then when we got back to the car park we had to walk back to where the car was parked which was only a short distance but as my wife is disabled this was difficult but I need to be honest it was good value but as you wish to improve your service I wanted to pass on my comments

Quick check in, efficient transfer, speedy collection at the end, did what it says on the tin. The route to get to park from the motorway can be a bit of a round the houses though.

My husband and I arrived at the parking then realised we had misread our flight time. Unfortunately the coach driver was unable to leave prior to his allotted time and there was a distinct possibility we would miss our flight. The staff told us they would not put the car into the compound until we did not return. I thought this was extremely helpful had we needed to then take our car away. As you have gathered we did get our flight. The transfer takes about fifteen minutes to the South terminal as the drop off to the North terminal is made first. Returned to find the car unscathed as expected. Thank you.

Great service very quick and easy to use Only down point on return was told car was in row L but it wasn't there and after hunting round in -2 temperatures after being in the heat of Marrakesh was a shock to the system. Would use again just will check the ticket for the row not as instructed by the receptionist.

Good parking facilities and very helpful, friendly and courteous staff, only comment re: access to collect vehicle upon return would be install more dropped kerbs, unable to access dropped kerbs as coaches had parked across access. A minor point but lumping suitcases up and down kerbs is a pain. Regards

We tried Purple Parking for a change from Cophall Farm, as the price was lower. We will not be going Purple again as it was a much less personal and friendly service, not bad but Cophall is always excellent

Very good service my only advise would be a telephone number given at time of drop off in case of emergency or if contact is needed went round the houses trying to make contact from a help desk to being transferred to Heathrow to bring transferred again to Gatwick would have been a better service with just a direct number given

Although leaving the car there was simple enough, and hassle free. The return journey was somewhat different. There were already people at the pick up point complaining that the bus had driven off without picking them up, then a wait of over 15 mins meant the queue increased and once the bus arrived, a lot of peoole queue jumping. Once arrived at the car park, again a wait to collect the keys. I understand they are renovating how they work. So this must be why there were a few problems.

Please be aware it is important to check traffic updates before you leave. There are long-term scheduled roadworks on the M23 near Gatwick Airport. These include overnight closures to the M23 and M23 Junction 10, that may affect your journey to the car park.

From the M23 - Junction 9:
Exit the motorway and follow the signs for Gatwick Airport.
At the motorway roundabout with traffic lights take the 2nd exit and head towards the airport.
At the next roundabout go straight over towards the North Terminal.
At the next roundabout take the 4th exit heading towards Crawley/Redhill (A23).
Join the dual carriageway and carry on until the next roundabout (Longbridge Roundabout) and take the 4th exit heading back on the A23 towards Gatwick, Brighton & Crawley.
Carry on over the next roundabout staying on the A23 Southbound.
At the 2nd roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the Old Brighton Road South (Lowfield Heath/Charlwood).
Turn left at the mini-roundabout onto Charlwood Road.
Purple Parking is located 1½ miles ahead on the right hand side.


From the M23 - Junction 10:
Exit the motorway and take the 3rd exit signposted Crawley (A2011).
At the 1st roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted A2011 for Horsham.
At the next roundabout with traffic lights take the 4th exit towards Redhill/Gatwick (A23 Northbound)
Carry on over the next roundabout following the signs for Gatwick.
At the next roundabout take the 1st exit for Lowfield Heath/Charlwood.
Turn left at the mini-roundabout onto Charlwood Road.
Purple Parking is located 1½ miles ahead on the right hand side.

If you need assistance with last minute directions please ring the number on your confirmation 7.

Park in one of the arrivals bays, take note of the number and head to reception to check in. You'll need to present a copy of your booking confirmation, drop your keys in the red box for the correct number lane and you'll be given a ticket, which you should keep safe as you'll need it later. It will also have instructions on the back for when you return.
Your car will be parked for you while you catch the bus from the waiting area to the airport. You'll need to show your ticket to the driver.
We recommend that you give yourself 45 minutes to drop your car and keys off and transfer to the airport.

Transfers operate 24 hours a day, every 20 minutes and take just 10-15 minutes.

I've used many times the parking but I'm a bit confused with the park and ride one. Can I park the car myself and keep the keys myself? You will be required to leave your keys with reception as they will park your car whilst you transfer to the airport.
