Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. The drivers that took us to and from the airport appeared to be very grumpy. When we collected our car we expected the staff to have our car at the office where we had left it but instead we were given the keys and told to go and get it. Sadly none of the staff were very helpfull. It doesn't cost anything to smile.

Would recommend to anyone ,very efficient never had any problems with this company and been using it for 3 or 4 years now a couple of times a year , only about 8 min from airport and they give you a shuttle bus there and back ,so there's no problems, there always there waiting for you coming off your flight even though they give you a card and phone number to call ,🖒😊

Dissatisfied with pickup from Glasgow on our return. (2/1/17)have used fhr many times (Glasgow and Edinburgh)had good service but find lately to be slipping in standards. We waited 30-40mins in queue for pickup. Not good enough!!! Will have to consider other options in future.

Always use Flying Scot, as we have never had any problems with the service. We always get a smooth and quick transfer to the airport, and the check in goes without a hitch each time. On return to the airport, we are always collected quickly, and the drivers are first rate.

- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground
- Turn LEFT into Well St then immediately RIGHT into Flying Scot and Flyaway Parking

- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- 3rd left at roundabout for Paisley (A726)

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
