Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. First of all by booking through book FHR.com, I saved about £10 for my weeks parking compared to other sites and flying scot itself, no one could match their price, now about the car park itself, easy to get there, friendly staff, chatty bus drivers , they lift your cases in and out of the bus( a little tip is always given) , and you can even get your car valet if you wish for a reasonable price,

Once again Flying Scot provide `what it says on the package`--an excellent and cheap short stay in their car parking premises in comparison to other nearby airport parking companies.. Taken to airport within 3/4 minutes on arrival and they were waiting on my arrival back at Glasgow airport and we left again in 2/3 minutes which was great as the flight was 20 minutes late arriving and I was very pushed for time but managed to make my appointment with 3 minutes to spare. I will park with them again

First time user. Very professional service start to finish. Good price. Good location. Good transfer to and from airport. Only downgrade from 5 stars is that - being used to self parking - no explanation as to what to do in arrival or in return. But this will be my car park of first choice in future!

A good service. I had a difficulty with last step of online booking, i.e. confirming card payment. I didn't know if transaction had gone through. I phoned office and very helpful girl took the booking on the phone.

Decent service but marked down on this occasion because of delay in picking us up from the airport on return trip. Took 20 minutes from phoning, and this was at a quiet time, only 2 couples including us on the bus. There were other drivers about when we got back to the car park and 2 other mini buses, so not clever.

TRAVELLING FROM GLASGOW
- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground
- Turn LEFT into Well St then immediately RIGHT into Flying Scot and Flyaway Parking

TRAVELLING FROM GREENOCK / ERSKINE BRIDGE
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- 3rd left at roundabout for Paisley (A726)

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
