Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

What security measures does the car park have?

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. My car was parked by a member of the FS, where on arrival found that the car was not locked and the radio system was on and as such the battery of the car has gone flat, had to ask for a jump lead to start the car, perhaps more careful and delicate attention towards customers' cars would be nice.

Have used FHR at the Flying Scot many times now and as usual, excellent service and friendly staff. Only negative comment, again as usual---the car park--too many potholes to negotiate in the dark with heavy suitcases, even using wheeled suitcases. Any chance of a re-surfacing?

The whole process was excellent, and very efficient. We found the Flying Scot car park no problem using the instructions we were given. We arrived, checked the car in, and were on the shuttle bus to the airport within a matter of minutes. The driver was very friendly. On return, we called from the freephone in the baggage hall as instructed and were told which pick-up point to go to. By the time we got there, a bus was waiting and we were on our way without any delay. Again, at the office, we were dealt with quickly and efficiently and the car was exactly where we were told it would be. Excellent service and will definitely use again.

I have just used this airport parking service and it is the first time I have left my car in airport parking. The directions given were excellent and we had no bother finding the carpark. The staff were friendly and very efficient and we were on the shuttle bus within 5 mins. Transfer to airport was quick and relaxing. On way home we called the service from the baggage area and a transfer bus was waiting when we got to the designated area. Staff again were friendly and efficient and we were on our way within another 5 mins. I would definitely recommend his service and will be using it again.

TRAVELLING FROM GLASGOW
- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground
- Turn LEFT into Well St then immediately RIGHT into Flying Scot and Flyaway Parking

TRAVELLING FROM GREENOCK / ERSKINE BRIDGE
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- 3rd left at roundabout for Paisley (A726)
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
