Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. The office staff are very helpful when you arrive & depart. The driver loads your luggage in the car park & the drop of point at the airport, The driver chats to all passengers & shares a joke, I have used a few parking companies in the past but since using flying scot a few years ago i have always used this company as its the best around by far, Thanks, Keith Weighand.

Our only comment was with the return trip. the transport was not large enough for amount of people pushing & shuving to get on,felt sorry for driver, everything else was excellent.

On arrival at airport were advised coach would be along in 5 mins., it was 25 mins before it turned up. Fortunately weather was good but we nevertheless felt it very cold having just returned frm Santa Ponsa. I will be looking for an alternative car park in future.

ON ARRIVAL WE HAD TO WAIT 20 MINUTES AS SHIFTS WERE CHANGING.ON RETURN WE HAD TO WAIT JUST OVER 15 MINUTE.AFTER AN OVERNIGHT FLIGHT THE LAST THING YOU WANT IS TO HANG ABOUT IN THE COLD

When we returned from our holiday we had to wait at least 20 minutes for the bus to come and pick us up from the airport,( a journey that should only take 5 mins) after a long flight this is unacceptable. When we arrived at the car park, there were 4 other buses in the car park but with no drivers. it seemed they were only using 1 bus. They obviously did not have enough staff on duty to cope with their customers requirements.

My only negative would be that I find the buses are very narrow, not really space for two people on the seat together if you are of a larger size.

TRAVELLING FROM GLASGOW
- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground
- Turn LEFT into Well St then immediately RIGHT into Flying Scot and Flyaway Parking

- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- 3rd left at roundabout for Paisley (A726)

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
