Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. Had great difficulty finding curtsey phone. One or two people must have had the same problem as they turned up for bus without having made contact. This caused confusion for driver. Exact location of phones would be helpful.

It takes some times quite long to get to and from the airport. The longest we waited was 55 minutes and nearly missed our holiday flight! But usualy under 30 minutes and good value. Friendly too.

I found the car park very difficult to find despite instruction. Eventually a helpful girl at Direct Parking gave me clear written instructions.(I am a woman!) Also had to wait a wee while to get back after trip. Apparantly I had just missed the shuttle bus. Despite this, everything else was excellent.l will use the Flying Scot car park again .

only comment wouldn't like to arrive there when really dark having to find your car away at the back would not be easy. also the code using to get out bit of hassle accepting a card not a better option like the car parks???

I will not use this again as they have stopped the practise of bringing your car to reception on your return and you are simply directed to march across the large and potholed carpark dragging your suitcases to wherever they may have put your car

I have used this car park facility on numerous occasions now and would not book anywhere else - I have never had a booking refused unlike other car parks, booking over the net is easy to do - they are the most competitive price wise and like the option to have my car valeted whilst its there. Best place to book in my opinion

The transfer drivers seem to think they are at Le Mans. Difficult on the corners. A very uncomfortable journey. Otherwise very good.

TRAVELLING FROM GLASGOW
- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground
- Turn LEFT into Well St then immediately RIGHT into Flying Scot and Flyaway Parking

TRAVELLING FROM GREENOCK / ERSKINE BRIDGE
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- 3rd left at roundabout for Paisley (A726)
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
