Commercial vehicles ie vans and pickups are no longer accepted - if you do turn up in what is classed a large, long wheel base or a commercial vehicle (which does not fit in a regular parking space), you may be turned away or charged a surcharge of £10 (subject to change) on check in at the car park.

This car park has CCTV, floodlights, 2 security guards and guard dogs making regular checks. Vehicles are covered by the car parks insurance whilst on site.

What else do I need to know?

Situated close to Glasgow Airport so you should plan to arrive 20 minutes before your airport check-in opens. You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant. Full tarmac surface - Open 24 hours 365 days a year. This car park offers free jump start and flat tyre assistance. Flying Scot has now been established for 30 years making it the longest serving car park at Glasgow Airport. There is no height restriction. The only complaint I have is the wait for the transport on arrival back to the uk. When you arrive at 6;30am after an 8.5 hour flight the last thing you want to do is wait 20 minutes for the transport to turn up! I have been using Flying Scot for years and will continue to do so but I think this is something that needs to be looked at. The car park is only 5 minutes drive from the terminal so there is no reason why anyone should be waiting that length of time especially at that time of the day.

A smooth finish to the surface of the car park would be ideal. I appreciate the cost of the secure parking would be increased to finance the undertaking, however, I think the customers would be satisfied with the end result. Apart from that, the service & value are exellent.

I use Flying Scot all the time now. The car park is not in a nice area but I've never had any problems. The reception area is a portakabin and the transfer buses are a few years old. Although the price is usually cheap, the main reason I use here is that they are one of the few car parks at Glasgow that park your car for you. Many have gone to self park, and assume no responsibility for any damage incurred.

The car park looked to be secure and the valet service offered and done was very good (an excellent additional service). Price also very good compared to closer car parks to the airport at around 30% cheaper and no significant downside caused by the more lengthy transfer from car park to airport.

We did have to wait 30 mins to be picked up from Glasgow airport because of the number of other passengers arriving at the same time The mini bus also then went to another stop when it eventually returned and we had to rush in front of other passengers who had been waitng at another stop

TRAVELLING FROM GLASGOW
- IMPORTANT keep in middle lane when approaching Glasgow Airport
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- At roundabout take first left for Paisley A726
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT
- Continue under metal bridge and past FOOTBALL GROUND
- Turn 2nd RIGHT after football ground
- Turn LEFT into Well St then immediately RIGHT into Flying Scot and Flyaway Parking

TRAVELLING FROM GREENOCK / ERSKINE BRIDGE
- Exit M8 at Junction 29
- 3rd left at roundabout for Paisley (A726)
- Drive to second set of lights and turn sharp RIGHT

On arriving to the car park you should park your car in the customer spaces next to reception. You will then need to check in at reception taking your confirmation with you and leaving your keys with the car park for the duration of your trip.

There is no height restriction.

A courtesy shuttle will then take you to the airport.

Return procedure
You will be provided with a number to call upon your return. Please only call this number once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs

The transfer bus will then collect and return you to the car park where you vehicle will be waiting for you. Any overstays are charged at £7.00 per day (subject to change).
