Having had our flight cancelled and delayed for a full 24hours, I was extremely gratified and relieved for the understanding attitude of the staff. I was not charged for the extra day and was actually assisted to my car by an extremely helpful staff member.

Great service. Easy to park, keep your keys. The bus shuttle is often and driver friendly ( very important )……I must say our flight back was cancelled and we had to take a later flight but we were not penalised for this. Much respect and will certainly use again. Thank you Airparks!…….

In some ways very basic, large car park, where you yourself park your car in an allocated row. The spaces were a bit tight, which was a bit of a concern. Didn’t have long to wait for Connection bus.

I booked parking at luton self parking and was quoted £50.39 for 10 days.To my horror on receiving confirmation it was only for 7days. I had to pay extra £17.10. The system made a mistake and I shouldend have had to pay more. I used your company many times in the past and never experienced any problems.But this is not good at all.

Directions for Airparks Self Park
Need to know:Drive to the car park - directions and a postcode will be on your booking confirmation. Follow the yellow signs for Airparks Self Park, its entrance is roughly 300 metres after the first blue Airparks entrance.
When you arrive, drive up to the barrier. It will automatically recognise your car reg and lift to let you in. Park in an available bay, keep your keys and make a note of where you've parked.
Then head to the nearest bus stop to catch the shuttle to the terminal. It's included in the price, takes around 14 minutes and runs regularly, 24 hours a day.
Arrival Procedures
Follow the yellow signs for Airparks Self Park, its entrance is approx. 300 metres after the first blue Airparks entrance.
On Return
When you return, catch the bus back to Airparks Self Park. Find your car and drive to the exit. The barrier will recognise your car reg and lift, allowing you to exit.

Coming from the North (M1):
- Leave the M1 at junction 10.
- ÂAt the motorway roundabout, take the first exit from the north onto Airport Way A1081.
- ÂKeep in the left-hand lane and take the slip road signposted towards St. Albans, Harpenden A1081.
- ÂYou'll come out onto a roundabout where you should take the first exit onto London Road.
- ÂAt the next roundabout, take the second exit signposted St Albans, Harpenden A1081.
- ÂShortly after, turn right onto Newlands Road, following signs for Airparks.
- ÂTurn left onto the B4540, signposted Slip End and Markyate.
- ÂAt the traffic lights, turn right onto Grove Road.
- ÂTake the first left onto the service road.
- ÂFollow the yellow signs for Airparks Self Park, its entrance is roughly 300 metres after the first blue Airparks entrance.
Coming from the South (M1):
- ÂLeave the M1 at junction 9.
- ÂAt the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A5183.
- Continue on A5183 for approximately 2 miles and at the traffic lights turn right onto B4540 (Luton Road towards Luton).
- Continue on B4540 for approximately 1.5 miles into Slip End village and at the traffic lights turn left onto Grove Road.
- ÂTake the first left onto the service road.
- ÂFollow the yellow signs for Airparks Self Park, its entrance is roughly 300 metres after the first blue Airparks entrance.
Accessibility
The shuttle bus is wheelchair accessible and there are accessible parking bays, which work on a first come, first served basis. Give Airparks a call before you arrive if you need any assistance. If you need help on site, use the intercom button at the barriers or ask the Airparks team.
Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).
The shuttle bus can't accommodate large sporting equipment, so we'd recommend dropping any off with your passengers at the terminal first, then driving to Airparks.
We recommend allowing 75 minutes to park at Airparks and transfer to the airport - longer during the peak times (between 4am and 8am).
Early or late? The car park offers a grace period until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day. This is subject to change.
If you return early, you will need to contact the car park directly on + the number on your confirmation 6 to give them as much notice as possible. If you don't, there may be a delay before you get your car back. We can't offer you a refund for any booked parking that you don't use.
