The transfers were not very frequent consequently leaving some coaches over crowded as I noted, the bar coded exit gates seemed to be poor leaving it to trial and error and delays in exiting car park.

A good parking experience the only downside was that we were told to park in row G but all places were taken. We went back to the office to find where to park to be told to park in any empty space. Would have saved time if we were told that in the first place.

On arrival it took 3 phone calls to contact company once I had picked up my baggage. In all it took 50 minutes from picking up luggage to getting back to my car.

I have been coming here for some time. Easy to book, easy to park, no hassle with handing over the keys. I like it. In some situations one can wait a bit longer for a bus but that is a part of the travel. The only thing I miss is a public toilet there. If one has to wait some time it'd be great to have a chance to pop in there.

Very satisfied with the service that Airparks provided. Only negative was I had problem locating the car after being collected from the airport. There was not efficient lighting around and I was accidentally walking through deep puddles in the pitch black with luggage and had to drive back home with wet feet.

Just 1 gripe. Landed at Luton. Queuing for over an hour to get thru customs and luggage. Freezing night. Then had to wait over half an hour for the bus. Other than the wait everything was great. Lovely staff and excellent service. Buses need to be more regular though.

Very convenient and running smoothly parking. I like the self-parking way of doing this business. It is fast and relieble. The only thing I'd change is the frequency of buses and their delays inside the car park. This time ot was as smooth as one really likes. The previous time it took 25 minutes from parking the car to leave the parking lot standing inside the bus. Otherwise, all good.

Quite seamless although it would be much better if the transfers to / from the airport were more frequent especially if you've just landed from hot & sunny climes and then have to wait over 15 minutes in the freezing cold for the bus Also the signage in the car park is virtually non-existent especially in the dark so nobody knows which way to go to get out and you have to negotiate large potholes full of water

The staff were friendly and helpful but there was a clear shortage of staff and took us 30 mins from arriving to getting parked. This is really not great and meant we had less time to get through the extra checks at the airport. Only one member of staff checking the computer and speaking to us in the car. This should really be relayed to people when booking to give us the opportunity to arrive earlier

The drop off and pick up procedure worked fine but the car park itself was very busy and we were parked on rough ground in a dark area and as it was raining there were puddles everywhere.

Spooky……! So strange after years of using your air park you only see 1 person on arrival and no one on return. Otherwise straight forward I will mention the fact that as you are running far less buses to and from airport ( quite understandable) a mention when booking might be an idea as I personally waited 30 minutes to get to the airport which of course in the old days your business came and went continuously and I became slightly anxious

The service is very good. I have been using for a number of years. It will be very nice if you can provide toilet facilities and a water fountain as most people are going on a long journey after that.

On parking for the outgoing trip at 13.45 on Tuesday 13/10/20 the Airparks bus at 14.00 left without taking any passengers. The driver knew we and another couple were there, but just drove straight off without informing us, or checking the waiting area. We had to wait until the next one at 14.30, so waited for 45 minutes for a bus, and we were not happy. Return trip was better, with driver from Luton Airport at 21.45 on Sat. 07/11/20 excellent and informative.

Was very easy to find and the whole process of parking the car was very well organised and felt safe at this strange time the short bus ride takes you straight to the front of the airport very easy to use on the return journey as well i have used this car park a few times now

Directions for Airparks Self Park
Need to know:Drive to the car park - directions and a postcode will be on your booking confirmation. Follow the yellow signs for Airparks Self Park, its entrance is roughly 300 metres after the first blue Airparks entrance.
When you arrive, drive up to the barrier. It will automatically recognise your car reg and lift to let you in. Park in an available bay, keep your keys and make a note of where you've parked.
Then head to the nearest bus stop to catch the shuttle to the terminal. It's included in the price, takes around 14 minutes and runs regularly, 24 hours a day.

On Return
When you return, catch the bus back to Airparks Self Park. Find your car and drive to the exit. The barrier will recognise your car reg and lift, allowing you to exit.

Coming from the North (M1):
- Leave the M1 at junction 10.
- ÂAt the motorway roundabout, take the first exit from the north onto Airport Way A1081.
- ÂKeep in the left-hand lane and take the slip road signposted towards St. Albans, Harpenden A1081.
- ÂYou'll come out onto a roundabout where you should take the first exit onto London Road.
- ÂAt the next roundabout, take the second exit signposted St Albans, Harpenden A1081.
- ÂShortly after, turn right onto Newlands Road, following signs for Airparks.

Accessibility
The shuttle bus is wheelchair accessible and there are accessible parking bays, which work on a first come, first served basis. Give Airparks a call before you arrive if you need any assistance. If you need help on site, use the intercom button at the barriers or ask the Airparks team.
Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).
The shuttle bus can't accommodate large sporting equipment, so we'd recommend dropping any off with your passengers at the terminal first, then driving to Airparks.
We recommend allowing 75 minutes to park at Airparks and transfer to the airport - longer during the peak times (between 4am and 8am).
Early or late? The car park offers a grace period until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day. This is subject to change.
If you return early, you will need to contact the car park directly on + the number on your confirmation 6 to give them as much notice as possible. If you don't, there may be a delay before you get your car back. We can't offer you a refund for any booked parking that you don't use.
