What else do I need to know?

Maximum vehicle dimensions are 2m wide x 2.1m high x 5m long. The car park cannot accept any high-sided vehicles, minibuses, mobile homes, lorries, caravans, trailers or vehicles larger than the above maximum dimensions. There are larger spaces for longer vehicles, but you?ll need to book the Larger vehicle package for those. Vehicles with a taxi license plate can be parked on-site, but cannot use the Return Greet or Meet and Greet services offered by ShortRun.

Arriving was not good, I had to park out in the road and leave it there as there was only one person on duty. This worried me greatly whilst I was away because I did not know if my car would be left out in the street whilst I was away. On my return, my car was in the car park but I was not happy how it had been parked. The wheels were on a ridge and may have creased the tyres, I won't know if any damage has been done for a while. Needless to say, I don't feel confident enough to park with you again.

Helpful staff at both ends...and also the ladies who were in the central office. Directions to the car park were very misleading - I know they were done by a third party but it would be helpful if you checked them out for accuracy.

It was a convenient car park close to the airport. The shuttle bus, however, was not quite so convenient. As we arrived in two cars, with a total of seven people, including children, they were unable to fit us all in the same shuttle bus and so we were split up on both the inward and return journeys. It would be helpful on collection if the driver announced the name of the party they were collecting to avoid other passengers innocently getting on to the wrong vehicle

Très bon rapport qualité/prix.. bon emplacement (à 2kms de l'aeroport)... Système de navette très bien... Le réceptionniste a été très agréable et surtout patient : nous avions oublié de demander où la navette nous reprenait... Nous avons donc appelé dès notre arrivée à l'aeroport et l'échange a été très chaotique tant notre anglais n'est pas très bon :-s ... mais nous avons fini par nous comprendre... Le chauffeur était très agréable également... Nous recommandons sans problème!!!!

Really really impressed. From start to finish an excellent experience. I normally park st Luton airport long stay car park. Tried FHR as such a hassle clambering onto an overcrowded bus with four children and bags, buggy, car seats etc. FHR was friendly, personal, staff helped load and unload bags. Just a perfect experience. Will definitely use again.

Directions for Central Car Storage

Leave the M1 at junction 10, taking the second exit onto New Airport Way, following signs for the airport.
After 2.5 miles, take a left onto the B653 towards Dunstable.
Take the first exit at the roundabout onto Gipsy Lane, between the retail park and Venue 360.
At the mini-roundabout, take the second exit.
Take the second exit at the next mini-roundabout onto Kimpton Road, signposted for the Chamber of Commerce.
Take a right opposite Hayward Tyler onto the service road.
ShortRun (Central Car Storage) will be on your left.

On arrival:
When you get to the car park, park in front of the check-in building. It's on the right, inside the main gates. Offload your bags and head to the check-in building. There, you'll be met by one of the car park's friendly staff who'll take your keys and check you in. Make sure you have your booking confirmation with you. You'll be given a ticket that'll you'll need to keep with you for your return, and the staff will park your car for you. Then, just hop on the transfer bus to the airport and you'll be there in 5 minutes.

On return:
Once you have collected your luggage, call the car park on the number on your confirmation 9 to arrange for the transfer bus to collect you. You'll then need to leave the terminal, follow signs for the drop zone and look out for a black Mercedes sprinter (this will be your shuttle bus). Get the bus back to the car park and when you get back, just head to reception to hand in your ticket, collect your keys and pick up your car.

If you lose your ticket, you'll need to answer some security questions and show photo ID, so make sure you have one with you.

If you return early, you will need to contact the car park directly to give them as much notice as possible. If you don't, there may be a delay before you get your car back. You can't get a refund for any booked parking that you don't use.

If you have sports equipment or lots of luggage, you may need to wait for a bus with more space during busy times, so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get to the airport.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Due to the ongoing redevelopment works at Luton Airport, your transfers to and from the airport may take longer than normal. We recommend you allow at least an extra hour for your transfer to the Airport particularly at peak times.
The peak travel times for Luton airport are all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday and between 0400 and 0900, 1300 and 1500 and 1700 and 1900 on other days.
