Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your printed voucher which has your booking reference number. Please allow an extra 30 minutes on arrival time for transfer at peak times,e.g.04.00-07.00 due to heavy traffic.

Full details of the returns procedure will be given on arrival at the car park.

What else do I need to know?

Maximum vehicle dimensions are 2m wide x 2.1m high x 5m long. The car park cannot accept any high-sided vehicles, minibuses, mobile homes, lorries, caravans, trailers or vehicles larger than the above maximum dimensions. There are larger spaces for longer vehicles, but you?ll need to book the Larger vehicle package for those. Vehicles with a taxi license plate can be parked on-site, but cannot use the Return Greet or Meet and Greet services offered by ShortRun.

As always a good service as have used them many times before. The pick up was slower than it normally is but this is not the problem of Central Car Storage but due to the horrendous traffic problems at the airport due to all the rebuilding wok going on.

Exactly as advertised. Have used these many times, car park is close to Luton Airport, transfers to the airport go as soon as they can - not when the bus is full like other companies I have used previously. Return pick up wait was a little longer than expected but I believe that was due to the horrendous traffic jam into the airport due to ongoing building work & not the fault of the company.

This is the second time I've used this company and have had excellent service on both occasions. Very prompt, friendly and professional. The only very minor fault would be that the driver collecting from the airport drove a bit too fast.

I struggled to locate your site. Information given, not having a sat nav, and road layout didn't seem to quite come together. Having driven around for about 15 mins eventually found the right place. From then on everything was fine. Quick service to airport. Promptly collected on return. Car waiting at drop off point.

Convenient parking not far from the airport. Shuttle only takes a couple of minutes and one was available almost at once. On our return we phoned up and were picked up quickly. Would use again.

Directions for Central Car Storage

Leave the M1 at junction 10, taking the second exit onto New Airport Way, following signs for the airport.
After 2.5 miles, take a left onto the B653 towards Dunstable.
Take the first exit at the roundabout onto Gipsy Lane, between the retail park and Venue 360.
At the mini-roundabout, take the second exit.
Take the second exit at the next mini-roundabout onto Kimpton Road, signposted for the Chamber of Commerce.
Take a right opposite Hayward Tyler onto the service road.
ShortRun (Central Car Storage) will be on your left.

On arrival:
When you get to the car park, park in front of the check-in building. It's on the right, inside the main gates. Offload your bags and head to the check-in building. There, you'll be met by one of the car park's friendly staff who'll take your keys and check you in. Make sure you have your booking confirmation with you. You'll be given a ticket that'll you'll need to keep with you for your return, and the staff will park your car for you. Then, just hop on the transfer bus to the airport and you'll be there in 5 minutes.

On return:
Once you have collected your luggage, call the car park on the number on your confirmation 9 to arrange for the transfer bus to collect you. You'll then need to leave the terminal, follow signs for the drop zone and look out for a black Mercedes sprinter (this will be your shuttle bus). Get the bus back to the car park and when you get back, just head to reception to hand in your ticket, collect your keys and pick up your car.

If you lose your ticket, you'll need to answer some security questions and show photo ID, so make sure you have one with you.

If you return early, you will need to contact the car park directly to give them as much notice as possible. If you don't, there may be a delay before you get your car back. You can't get a refund for any booked parking that you don't use.

If you have sports equipment or lots of luggage, you may need to wait for a bus with more space during busy times, so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get to the airport.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Due to the ongoing redevelopment works at Luton Airport, your transfers to and from the airport may take longer than normal. We recommend you allow at least an extra hour for your transfer to the Airport particularly at peak times.
The peak travel times for Luton airport are all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday and between 0400 and 0900, 1300 and 1500 and 1700 and 1900 on other days.
