Meet and Greet Service

You will be met at the airport and your car will be taken to the secure car park by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on your return.

What is the drop-off procedure?

Drive into the car park and your car will be photographed automatically, to record the condition of the car. From here, drive towards the customer service centre and park in one of the drop-off bays.

What is the pick-up procedure?

Once you've collected your luggage head back to the Customer Service centre, located opposite arrivals. Your car and keys will be returned to you.

What security measures does the car park have?

While you are on holiday your car will be parked on site at Newcastle airport, in a secured location covered by CCTV and 24 hour surveillance. Awarded: Park Mark, Safer Parking Award

What else do I need to know?

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles or vans) will be accepted at the car park as long as they have less than 8 seats and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m). The car park doesn’t accept mobile homes, lorries or caravans.

Service was fine and very friendly. However on arrival I informed them that I may have a slow puncture. The receptionist assured me that it wouldn’t be a problem and it would be blown up before I returned. On return tyre was flat and had to pump it myself. Put another 30 minutes on my return time and at 2am in the morning you can do without that. Won’t be using that car park again.

Had a bit trouble trying to find the place as satnav still has old directions so that was annoying. However once there, everything went very smoothly and returned journey was quick and easy, would definitely recommend.

Parking was easy to find & only a couple of minutes from Departures! My only complaint would be a lack of staff when checking in my car! A wait of 20 to 25 minutes, only one person manning the desk at a very busy time of day! I was told between 4am & 6am, the time I was there, was the busiest time, if this is the case then having more staff on duty would be advisable!

Directions for Meet and Greet - Flexible

Please see directions/instructions below:

From the A1 take the A696 towards Newcastle airport.
When you approach the airport roundabout take the 2nd exit.
At the next roundabout take the 1st exit, following signs to the Premium Meet and Greet car park.
At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit into the car park.

Arrival Procedure
Drive into the car park and your car will be photographed automatically, to record the condition of the car.
From here, drive towards the customer service centre and park in one of the drop-off bays.
You'll be met by a member of the team who will give you a receipt, which you'll need to keep for your return.
From the car park it's a short 2-minute walk to check-in via a sheltered walkway.

Departure Procedure
Once you've collected your luggage head back to the Customer Service centre, located opposite arrivals. Your car and keys will be returned to you.

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period up until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £12 per day, which is subject to change.
