Meet and Greet Service

You will be met at the airport and your car will be taken to the secure car park by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on your return.

What is the drop-off procedure?

Drive into the car park and your car will be photographed automatically, to record the condition of the car. From here, drive towards the customer service centre and park in one of the drop-off bays.

What is the pick-up procedure?

Once you've collected your luggage head back to the Customer Service centre, located opposite arrivals. Your car and keys will be returned to you.

What security measures does the car park have?

While you are on holiday your car will be parked on site at Newcastle airport, in a secured location covered by CCTV and 24 hour surveillance. Awarded: Park Mark, Safer Parking Award

What else do I need to know?

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles or vans) will be accepted at the car park as long as they have less than 8 seats and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m). The car park doesnÂ’t accept mobile homes, lorries or caravans.

Absolutely brilliant. Handed the keys in and stepped out of the office crossed the road and was in the airport. On return presented our selves to the office got the car keys and was directed to a marked parking space outside the door. Will never use any other parking facility at the airport. Must mention the staff , both times the staff were extremely pleasant and on the ball . Very impressed .

We have used this service previously and always found it perfect. On this occasion our flight was cancelled and rescheduled to the next day so we, therefore, had to retrieve our car to return home for the night. This was done speedily and without any problems. The staff involved were friendly and understanding. We returned the next morning and re-checked our car in with again. Faultless service - excellent.

It was really easy to book. Very straight forward booking the car in and picking it up. The cost was also excellent. The only niggle I have is when we picked the car up, the passenger inside door was wet and also one headrest in the back was pulled right up. We don’t use the back seat so unsure why this was

Couldn't have been easier, drop off car and leave keys then short walk to terminal. Reverse process on return and you're on the way home within minutes.

All fine except directions to return to the car park are none existent after returning from abroad. If they are there the meet and greet signs should be more obvious ..I walked a long way !!

It's such a good way to start your Holiday, there are no hassles, park the car in front of the office, they need the date you return, and that's it! It's a 2 minute walk from the Airport. When you return hand in your ticket and collect your car, simple!.

Directions for Meet and Greet - Flexible

Please see directions/instructions below:

From the A1 take the A696 towards Newcastle airport.
When you approach the airport roundabout take the 2nd exit.
At the next roundabout take the 1st exit, following signs to the Premium Meet and Greet car park.
At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit into the car park.

Arrival Procedure
Drive into the car park and your car will be photographed automatically, to record the condition of the car.
From here, drive towards the customer service centre and park in one of the drop-off bays.
You'll be met by a member of the team who will give you a receipt, which you'll need to keep for your return.
From the car park it's a short 2-minute walk to check-in via a sheltered walkway.

Departure Procedure
Once you've collected your luggage head back to the Customer Service centre, located opposite arrivals. Your car and keys will be returned to you.

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period up until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £12 per day, which is subject to change.
