There is a new checking in process at Newcastle for booking your car in, you are now issued with a card before going to the airport. our card had not been printed off and the staff had to write one out. On arriving back in our car was not ready due to a mix up with this process, but the staff quickly sorted it. I always use this car park whenever I fly from Newcastle.

Not as good as previous experiences. The 15+minute wait for the bus was followed by an abrupt driver who after reluctantly put an elderly couples two cases in the back slam all doors, then proceeded to drive aggressively, throwing us from side to side of the bus, to another car park Park & Fly were the elderly couple, helped off the bus by my husband, became quiet as a pose to the happy chatty pair who had loved there holiday to quiet vulnerable old people, a disgraceful experience for them I would say. We Thought the whole experience seemed to us as though we were all a bother to your company. After using the original caller ton for over 20 years you have managed to spoil the friendly happy buzz the other drivers gave the return from holiday we expected from past years in One journey. This will make us think twice about using your service again.

The amalgamation of three airport parking companies , Callerton ,Bell-air and Park &. Ride, caused confusion at the single ,return pick-up point. The mini-buses had two of the company names on , so your customers had problems trying to find out the destination of the buses.

Very easy to find also really nice customer service we dropped car off and got transfer to airport immediately, when arrived back 1week later the transfer bus was there waiting for us so all in all good experience will definitely book again

We have used Callerton parking for many years now and it has always been very reliable and the car waiting upon our return. I understand this has recently been took over under new management and you can certainly tell. We dropped the car and were took to the airport with no issues, however upon our return it was a different story. We had to wait some time for the minibus to pick us up from the airport as advised only 1 bus which does a loop. When we arrived to collect our car it was not ready for collection and they had to go and find it! Another couple had waited over half an hour and were still waiting after we left. The staff did not seem to have a clue what they were doing and I found it very disorganised. I would defiantly think twice before using the Company again.

We have used Callerton parking many times in the past and found the service to be fine, unfortunately this time it was very poor. On return from our holiday we waited 35 minutes until we were collected from the airport. Our car could not be found at Callerton and we waited 30 mins until it was located. There seemed to be only one member of staff around who apologised profusely but was extremely stressed trying to accept and return cars whilst customers were getting agitated. I am aware that a new company has recently taken over Callerton and would expect teething problems but they should ensure there are enough staff on duty to provide the service people have paid for. The one star I have given is for the young lady for not walking out when customers were rude and blamed her for the company's failings.

Been with Callerton many times in the past and always a well oiled machine very efficient friendly service, however, disappointed this time. It seems as the company is expanding. It's losing some of it's appeal and was no where near as good service as previous visits. They seem to have a new computer system which took longer to book in and there was a substantial wait on a cold morning for the bus to arrive to take us to airport, the driver wasn't as friendly either. Also coming back, I tried to ring the contact centre numerous times to an engaged tone and another wait before a bus arrived with a different company name so Callerton must be operating 2 different services? When a bus eventually came, the driver dropped others off at another depot before proceeding to Callerton. I'm just slightly disappointed that the whole service took longer than necessary and that standards seem to have dropped as I had nothing but praise for Callerton in the past.

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
