Although Callerton parking is always the cheapest it is by no means the best. My car was clean on leaving it at Callerton. On returning from our holiday I was disgusted at the state of my car. There was mud and dirt on the drivers floor mat AND on a rear floor mat, the exterior was also very dirty and a large amount of bird excrement was on the rear window. I brought this to Callerton's attention and to be fair they gave me £20 for a valet and said that there was no excuse for the cars condition. Not their finest hour !

would be better if there was a way for the operators to get in touch with the drivers as we just missed a pick up and had to wait for the return. we had called and were informed the driver was at the pick up point but when we walked there he was in the process of pulling away therefore we had to call again to advise of this and wait for him coming back.

The actual park was small and jam-packed. It was obvious they were going to drive my car to another park they said was about 6 miles away. When I collected my car there was no obvious damage but the interior smelt, there was mud all over the passenger side carpet and the audio settings had been altered. Stupidly I didn't make a note of the mileage so I don' t know for sure how far they drove it but I begrudge my car being used to transport other people around and my audio system being played around with! The transfers were very efficient but the state of the vans used was poor - really old and dirty. I don't recommend the company and I certainly would never use them again.

Good - Easy to find. Return picked up within 2 minutes of call to office. Bad - incoming/outgoing site so overcrowded hardly room to move, site office very scruffy, it stunk like a dog kennel, obviously dogs live in it? On site toilets dirty.Transfer vehicle poor, no signage other than large notice inside saying not to touch the door or you would pay for any damage! Would not have booked this company to look after my £30K+ car had I seen the site condition beforehand, would have rather chanced on site airport parking which in fact was only about £7 dearer! Luckily car seems to have survived the experience.

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
