Staff was excellent but on return picked up car to find drivers side car mat full of mud wear their parked car up with mud on shoes but overall would use service again

We have booked through FHR at Callerton Parking at Newcastle for a number of years with no problems - the last twice we have returned and our car was covered in mud splashes that covered the whole of the car, the footwell and foot pedals were also covered in muddy footprints, and items in the boot had been thrown about all over the place as if the car had been in a rally. The first time this happened we thought it would just be a one off occurrence and didn't complain, but we are not happy that this has happened a second time. Apart from this the service of delivery to the airport and pick up on return was excellent.

Service on arrival at the airport was very good. The staff had excellent customer service skills. On return during the night, we were not impressed that when we rang the free phone number, we were asked to wait for the bus where we originally were picked up. This was hectic due to the amount of cars, taxis, and various other forms of transport picking up. We had to go looking around for the bus. Once we found it the driver was quite rude and abrupt. We arrive back recieved the keys and left. The car was extremely dirty, had the service on return been as good as departure I would be able to rate this service higher, unfortunately it was not.

VERY GOOD, EASY TO FIND TRAVELLING FROM SCOTLAND, QUICK AND EASY AND VERY CLOSE TO AIRPORT, QUICK ON RETURN EVEN THOUGH WE NEVER ARRIVED BACK TO AIRPORT TILL EARLY HOURS AND CAR WAITING ON RETURN VERY PLEASED, GOOD WORK AND WILL USE AGAIN IF FLYING FROM NEWCASTLE.

Having used Black Callerton previously when flying from Newcastle, I decided to do so again. It is now easier to book, and pay, online.The service at the site was quick and efficient, as were the transfers. An excellent service.

Have used your company several times before. However we had to wait over 20 minutes to be picked up from the airport on this occasion so very disappointed. Then once the transport arrived he waited for another ten minutes ehen there were no more passengers before heading back to the car park.

Absolutely filthy office with dogs. Transfer bus no better. Pick up on return was delayed and on phoning again to check where driver was got lip from whoever answered. Inside of my car (mats) were absolutely disgusting with dirt. Never again!

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
