We have used this facility on a couple of occasions and found it to be hassle free and value for money. As we use Newcastle Airport on a regular basis we would not hesitate to use FHR Callerton again.

I would have thought that many customers use the toilet facilities having travelled quite some distances to the airport? As I was one of those customers I was disappointed with the toilet facilities available. Our return transfer was disappointing as we had to wait for the third bus load. We were of the impression that when more passengers are expected from a flight more buses would be used. This was not the case for us and it was early hours of the morning and snowing.

Very chaotic system, but also very cheap. Phone was permanently engaged on arrival back, the minibus door was taped on with sticky tape and couldn't be opened from inside. But having said that it only took 15 minutes to get back to the cars location. You get what you pay for!

the mini bus could be a little bit more updated, but it did the job as its only 2mins from the airport, and given the amount of people who must use it you cant expect a rolls royce.

nearly missed our flight had to wait nearly half an hour as they said they didn't have our booking even tho I should them copy of booking and receipt we had to wait for transfer bus only got to gate just before closing mind you very prompt on our return

We found the guys at Callerton very helpful. Unfortunately our car would not start after our return. They tried various means to get it started for us, then helped us find overnight accommodation. They took us to a local hotel & picked us up again the following morning. They were excellent.

Really quick transfer, both ways, and friendly and helpful staff - reception and drivers. Great to have your car ready and waiting for you to drive off - much more convenient than the on airport parking! We have always parked on airport in the past but will now use this car park - it is quicker (surprisingly!), more convenient, cheaper, and you get service with a smile (and sometimes a song!) for less money. And I love the quirky decor in reception!

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
