I was happy enough but the only thing i didn't like was leaving the keys in the ignition when we arrived. I told the driver i was reluctant but he said it will be ok. Then we drove off to the airport and no-one was about! i dont know why the keys cannot be handed in to reception? This might put me off in future. The actual transfers to and from the airport were instant so very happy with that.

Cheap airport parking but when we leave our cars previously at airport parking places we always take a reading of our mileage before and after and notice it had done 14 miles since we left it!also tobacco was all over the drivers seat and things had moved in the car. The radio station had also changed?wouldn't be using this company again.

The appearance of the car parking is similar to that of a scrap yard and compared to the Airparks one where I usually book on the other side of the road it bears no comparison. The vehicle taking us and picking us up from the airport was scruffy and looked very doubtful as to its ability to pass an MOT (it had a piece of paper in the window saying tax applied for?) and the fire extinguisher was rolling around the floor! I will definitely not book here again. However, to be fair my car was ready and waiting for me (despite my fears regarding overall security) and the pick up and drop off times were very good.

Airport transfer was good on outgoing journey but we had a 30 minute wait in the cold for a 3 minute trip on the return journey. Would not use this company again.

The gentleman receptionist was very nice, helpful and friendly. The cost was very competitive. I did get confused as I thought I had booked in with the competitors over the road. However I have no complaints.

Dear Sirs, I can't comment on security since I wasn't there to observe and security arrangements were never explained to me. Small issue, mud and leaves from footprints inside the driver's side.

All the staff we encountered at Callerton Airport Parking, Newcastle were excellent, very helpful indeed and inspired confidence that I was leaving my vehicle in very good hands. On the outward journey, when we were dropped off at the airport by the Callerton shuttle bus, I realised I had left my wallet and mobile phone in my vehicle and the Callerton driver was very helpful, taking me straight back to their premises, helping me locate my wallet and phone, and then took me straight back to the airport. Terrific service - thank you very much to Callerton Parking!

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
