Easy check in. Car key is taken so your car can be parked and brought back for your return. Shuttle service to and from airport is faultless. Then.....it all went wrong.....husband collected key and I waited at the office with cases. It took a bit of time for him to come back and when he did I was shocked. He had been cleaning the bird poo from the windscreen. It was covered. Windscreen, headlight, drivers side at front from roof down. Couldn't even see through the side window. Chap in th office helped to clean the window so we could drive to premier inn across the road as this was at 1 am. Went back in the next day and was told birds are nesting in the shed where cars are parked and there's not much they could do about it. I would have been embarrassed to give a customer back their car in a state like that. We were told to take car somewhere to get it power washed off. As we are not from the area we decided to find a washer on the way home. So whoever it was who put the car back in that state needs to take a good hard look at themselves. Thank you to the shuttle bus drivers and the chap who helped us on night of pickup. If I ever have to park there again it will be because of them that I would.

Arrived back home to pick up my car and it was covered in bird muck. I raised the issue with one of the staff. He said he couldn't understand it as the car was stored inside in a warehouse. Car must have under a girder with birds dropping on it for a fortnight. Would have thought that the car should have been cleaned up a bit prior to picking it up. I could see another car in a similar state as mine , seems Callerton have a problem .

the parking was excelent but you must address the valet service you let use your office we left our car for a full valet only to find when we got back that it was not done fully ie no seat cleaned went to where they clean them only to be meet with a lot of abuse and shouted at by the lady owner told to get away and not to dare to give a bad review we have used your parking for years but wont be again its a shame as we always use your parking a few times a year

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking
Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.
SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.
EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.
On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.
On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park.
