Disappointed on our return our car was frozen solid and wouldn't start. The collection bus driver did assist in starting the vehicle. But any other time I have return during the winter months my car had been started prior to our collection.

Booking was quick and easy. Staff at the car park were friendly and helpful. On arriving back, there were a number of people waiting on transport. There seemed to be a mixture of people going to Callerton and other carparks. The driver did not seem to know numbers and was taking mixed transfers rather that trying to be more organised and efficient by taking one vehicle load to Callerton and going back for other car parks. It felt a bit disorganised.

Very good service. It was no problem when we arrived in a different car at the car park. There was a 4 your delay on our flight but we only had to wait 5 minutes for pick up at 3am in the morning. Very friendly service.

I've used Callerton quite a few times in the past without any issues or problems and have always been pleased with their staff & sevice. This time was no different but with a bonus.We were delayed at Schiphol for 11 hours due to fog. We finally arrived into Newcastle at 2.00am, tired & drained. Callerton now have a dedicated pickup point near the taxi rank, a good thing, and there was no need to telephone the driver to pick us up as he was there waiting for us.He'd obviously been monitoring the flight situation & was aware of the delays. With Callerton being no more than a 5 minute drive we were soon back to our car. Now as we were late , by about 8 hours, I was prepared to pay an extra charge. The driver would have none of it and said it wasn't our fault we were late, which was true, but neither was it Callertons. I thought it was very good of them & very professional. It's not often you come across common sense. I thought it was a very nice gesture. I will be using Callerton again and I highly recommend them to anyone thinking of doing the same.

Picked and taken to the airport no problem. When we arrived the driver said he would pick us up were he dropped us off. On returning to the airport we stood at the place were he dropped us off and we waited in the freezing cold watching other buses go bye. The bus we went in was a large old van type coach so we were looking for the same one coming back to no avail. I approached a taxi driver and asked him if Callerton was still operating as we had been phoning them with no aswer, he pointed out were the proper pick up was. We stood there for a few minutes and whitish van pulled up and i asked the driver about the Callerton bus and he said he would take us. As this was an airport bus i asked him has Callerton been taken over by the airport and he replied yes. A lot of confusion could of been saved if somebody had answered the phone.

easy to find,quickly sorted out the paperwork and within a few minutes we were on our way to airport. There was a small delay on our return from the airport, some sort of roadworks within the airport road system. Will recommend your service

I have always used Callerton,but found on my return journey this time the new policy in place at the moment in unfair. because I was first at the bus park the camera picks out people waiting , when bus arrived it stopped next to second shelter not the first shelter therefore people who had just arrived started to board first, at this point my wife just jumped into front seat next to driver leaving me to give our cases to driver or we would of been waiting for the next bus. Something needs to be done as it could have been elderly people left stranded in the cold. Thanks David Butt

We haven't parked here for a while and were pleasantly surprised with the improvements. The whole place is clean, organised and well run, where before the cabin and yard were shabby and cluttered. A good experience all round, couldn't fault.

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
