Given all car parks are now run by the airport, my experience was not good compared to previous. Now, I understand the airport has busy times, but on arrival I waited 20 minutes for a bus to the terminal. On arrival I waited another 15 minutes and then no one was in the hut to give me my key so he had to be radioed in to come and do so as he was over one of the other car parks. I know Callerton is cheaper than others, although not sure why given they are all owned by the airport but anyway, I think next time I will pay the extra and use the short or long stay car park.

I have used Callerton for several years. It does what it says on the tin! They could improve on prices for frequent customers. We travel abroad about 6 times a year, so car park charges do add up!

Furst class service from the guys at Callerton. We arrived a little earlier than booked, but it wasnt a problem. We were taken to the airport immediately, no hanging around. On arrival back home, a bus was just dropping people off at the airport, and we got on it back to Callerton, where our car was sat waiting for us to drive away. We will definately be using Callerton again next time we go awawy from Newcastle and we always recommend you to friends.

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
