We've parked at Callerton many times and have always been very impressed. The site is secure, the rates very reasonable, the staff are friendly and the pick up and drop off service is fast and reliabl. What's not to love?

There is a shortage of staff with one person looking after two parking sites. There was also a long delay in collecting us from the airport back to Callerton Parking area.

Reception area much improved as is the allocation of marked parking spaces. Transport waiting on arrival and swiftly taken to the airport. The return trip was not as smooth as there appeared to be only two buses serving all the off site parking areas as they are all under one ownership. It was a busy time and the return to Callerton was nowhere as swift as it had been on my previous uses of this parking site.. A phone call to the operator once baggage has been collected always ensured a very quick pick up. Staff all very courteous and helpful.

After making the booking and paying the fee on line. I arrived at Callerton car park to find that my vehicle had not been booked in on their computer system. This is incompetence on someones part. An unnecessary delay I didn't need

we have parked here for a few years now, we have never had a problem with using callerton car parking, what i would like to see is a discount for regular users of your parking, apart from that we will continue to use it every year.

First time we have used Callerton Parking-we have used others before. We were satisfied with everything except the length of time we had to wait for the minibus to take us to the airport, which was over 20 mins. It was 5.15 am & there was only the 2 of us waiting. Even the chap in the office rang the driver twice to check where he was.

We waited over 40 minutes at Newcastle Airport for a bus to pick us up to take us to Callerton yesterday. We were promised at 1656 by one of the drivers that he would be back within 15 minutes but although buses arrived to take passengers to other car parks we had to wait much longer. When we returned to the Callerton office it was locked up and we had to wait for somebody to come and give us our keys back. Disappointing and not nearly as efficient a service as it used to be.

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
