It was a very smooth transfer from Callerton to the airport, but the return in the cold waiting for the transport back took some time, I thought a camera was in the shelter to advise Callerton people were waiting, but I had to ring them to say we were waiting in the cold !

Great drivers I have used Callerton parking at least 20 times this is the first time I have waited more than 15 minutes to be collected after landing service was much better before

After using Callerton last year and receiving an excellent service our family decided to use them again . BIG MISTAKE. Our flight was delayed by an hour, where we were stuck on the runway in a full, hot and cramped plane. We were confident that on arrival at Newcastle, Callerton would be fully aware that our flight was delayed and we would not wait long for our transfer bus. Unfortunately, this was not the case, we arrived at the pick up point and waited over half an hour for a mini bus to pick us up. I tried ringing the number from Callertons website, but was put through to a closed call centre. As we had travelled with Jet 2, I asked at the desk in the airport and the helpful lady there, rang and came up with the same as me, a closed call centre. Arriving at Callerton, I enquire how it was possible to wait half an hour for a 7 minute ride and was faced with a very bad attitude and no apology !! This has put me off using this service again .

This was our second time booking here. Was the cheapest of them all but fantastic service. We were delayed on the way back but still we were picked up straight away without having to ring. Lovely bus that transfered us. Staff very friendly and polite. Would recommend to everyone. We will be using you again nxt year. Thank you xxx

Fantastic service as usual, car dropped off and minibus straight to the airport with a very friendly driver. Coming home the minibus was already there waiting for us, the driver this time was not friendly or helpful, did not open and close the doors for us,or put the step down on the minibus to make it easier to get in and out. Although these are minor details, they would have meant I would have reviewed this as 5 star instead of 4, as the whole experience was very fast, efficient and easy.

I have used this parking many times in the past. The reception and transfer were reasonably efficient, but not as quick as in previous years. On return, the small bus could only accommodate a few returning passengers at a time, so many had quite a lengthy wait. A second bus was on site, but there was nodriver for it. The personnel were courteous and pleasant, but I have the impression that the staff have been cut to a minimum. My car was ready and in good condition.

When we returned from holiday, we were picked up and taken to the car park, on arrival there was no one there, eventually someone arrived and we got the car keys. When we got to the car it was sprayed with muck along the near side and rear of the car, the guy there could give us no explanation as to how this happened, he did say that if we wanted to we could fill in a complaint form and apologised for the mess, but we were tired after a long journey and went home disappointed with the service you provided

Directions for Newcastle - Callerton Parking

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

FROM THE A1, take the slip road to the left, signed A696 Jedburgh and Airport; go along the A696 to the airport taking the 2nd slip road on the left, signed Woolsington & Throckley. At the top of the slip road turn right, go straight over the roundabout, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

SOUTHBOUND on A68/A696, go through the village of Ponteland towards Newcastle, straight over at the roundabout and along the dual carriageway. After approx. 500 yards, take the first slip road on left for Woolsington & Throckley. At top of slip road turn left, Callerton Parking is located on the right, as you approach the Metro lines.

EASTBOUND on the A69, travel along the A69 until you come to a turn off for Throckley. At the end of the slip road turn left onto the B6323. At T-junction turn right and continue on the road, taking the 2nd turn in left, signed Black Callerton (ignore 1st turn in for the Airport). Follow the road for approx. 2 miles. When you reach roundabout, go straight over, Callerton Parking is located on the right, just before the Metro lines.

On arrival
Please report to the car park Reception on arrival and present your confirmation Voucher or FHR Booking Reference number. A member of our team will transfer you on our courtesy bus up to the terminal.

On return
On return, proceed to where the bus dropped you off on arrival (the large bus shelter directly in front of the terminal, just in front of the express car park). This is where the new pick up point is. One of our representatives will be awaiting your return to take you back to Callerton Parking.

Can you have your car parked under cover ?Thank you for your enquiry, we have contacted Callerton Parking who have advised that they do not offer undercover parking.
What happens if I notice damage to my vehicle not caused by myself but after being parked at Callerton car park? It was dark when I collected my vehicle so I was unable to see any damage until I returned home. No car park will normally not allow claims after the car has been taken out of the car park. can I get an earlier transfer back to my car if my flight lands before the specified timeTransfers are running all the time so that would not be a problem
