What is the drop-off procedure?

Once you have arrived at Thremhall Avenue, please drive and park in one of the bays located on the left hand side next to our reception. Your keys will be taken and your car inspected before it is parked for the duration of your trip. Free transfer every 20 minutes for up to 4 passengers (£5 return for any additional pax). Vehicle Restrictions: Parking is for cars only and cars must fit in to a standard sized parking space (2.4m wide x 4.8m long). Extra charges will apply for cars that do not fit in to a standard parking space and must be arranged with Maple prior to the drop off date. Very large vehicles and minibuses may be refused if prior arrangements are not made.

What is the pick-up procedure?

After clearing customs, please call the number on your confirmation to advise that you are ready for collection, then After exiting Arrivals, follow the signs to the Coach Station and wait at Bay 19.

What security measures does the car park have?

The car park has 24 hour manned security, fencing and a gated entry. CRB Checked Staff and Drivers Park Mark awarded Car Parks

What else do I need to know?

Illegal Vehicles: It's your responsibility to make sure that your vehicle has road tax, holds a valid MOT certificate and is roadworthy / legal. If your car isn't legal or safe to drive, Maple will not be able to drive it to the car park, and you will not be able to get a refund. Late Returns: If your return is delayed and you park for longer than you have booked, extra days parking will be charged at £20 per day (subject to change) or part day thereof, after your booked return date. Early Returns: If you are returning ahead of schedule, please telephone Maple ASAP. They must have 24 hrs notice

Booking is easy use fhr all the time for airport parking /hotel/and lounges very easy to deal with Maple parking not inpressed we arrived, it was raining really hard very windy and extremely cold check in was easy and straight forward, that's where the proplem was after check in , we had to wait outside across the road for the bus to arrive which was a good 20 to 30 mins by the time it arrived we were socked to the skin and freezing cold, asked if we could wait in there little cabin was told no as has to wait at bus stop or bus wouldn't stop, also no toilet facilities that I could see, my husband you has COPD got a chill due to beinging in wet cold clothes and ended up with a nasty chest infection and cough which completely ruined our holiday, not to mention the cost of doctors and prescriptions. Would highly recommend fhr but unfortunately would not recommend maple Parking also staff at mable parking were extremely rude on way out , staff on way back much better, all they need to do is put a bus shelter to protect from the elements, not nice to stand in the freezing cold wet and wind, not a goid start to the holiday

Easy to find and quick handover at both ends of trip. I do think that better signage is needed to identify check in portacabin. Also the surfaces need looking at as huge muddy potholes and bad lighting means it is inevitable that somebody’s foot, luggage or car tyre is going down one, this makes the company look cheap and nasty. Polite staff.

No longer have mini bus service and have to use bus from bus stop which is further away. Didn't wait long but not as easy. All else fine.

Always use Maple but bit surprising they have dropped the small mini buses for a big coach..Had to wait till it was full then drove to Holiday Inn to pick up even more tho the bus was packed... Other then that was fine

Not the best customer experience around. You will only book it if low cost is your priority: barely lit muddy car park and 15min wait outside in the cold for a packed shuttle to the airport. Does what it says on the tin, but no focus on customers experience whatsoever.

Used to be good but sadly not any more as maple are now using the shared shared bus with Holiday and premiere inn due to not having PSV drivers. The shuttle bus leaves from the coach station rather than outside terminal, and is every 30 mins rather than in demand as it used to be. On return had to find my car in the badly lit dirt car park behind the Maple portacabin. The normal Stansted long stay car park now seems to be the cheaper and better option.

Not as good as it used to be. There were no signs as to where to park on entering car park, and having driven in we were then told to turn round and park somewhere completely different. On return we couldnt get hold of the car park to announce our arrival (phone just rang and rang and we tried it 4 times) thus the car wasnt ready and we had another 20 minute wait to get the car.

Went into reception cabin and was totally ignored by staff until he had finished his computer input. Surly on the phone when I called for collection. Muddy drivers footwell where staff had moved the vehicle. A little customer service and a paper footwell protector is not likely to eat much into profits. The bus driver was chirpy though and it was well priced.

First of all my apology to the man at reception. I shouldn't have told him to shut up. But after an awful journey of 6 hours, last thing you want to hear is being told off because at the arrival haven't phone them before boarding the bus. I was trying to explain that I walked to the shuttle bus bay and I found that it was already there. Then, before boarding I asked the driver if I needed to phone the car park and he said no. No way, the man continued with his aggressive attitude telling me I did make a mistake. Finally, quite annoyed, I took my key and walked away.

Leave the M11 by the slip road at Junction 8 Southbound or Junction 8a North Bound - At the end of the road follow it round to the left onto A120 Thremhall Avenue - You'll come to a large roundabout - take the 3rd exit onto A120 Thremhall Avenue - Continue down this road and keep left towards the Bassingbourn Roundabout and take the 3rd exit Signposted A120 Express by Holiday Inn - At the next roundabout take the third exit signposted Express by Holiday Inn - Drive straight to the end of this road where you will see Maple Parking Park & Ride's Car Park


Transfer Details
Transfers run every 20 minutes 24 hours 7 days and are included in price for up to 4 passengers - £5 return for each additional passenger payable at the car park.

On Arrival
Once you have arrived at Thremhall Avenue, please enter the car park and park up on the right hand side near to our reception. Your keys will be taken and your car inspected before it is parked for the duration of your trip.

Return Procedure
If you are returning ahead of schedule, we must have at least 24 hours notice (or as much notice as possible) to ensure that your vehicle is ready to be collected upon your return.

As soon as you have collected all of your baggage and are ready to clear customs call us on the number on your confirmation 0 and follow the directions below:

After exiting Arrivals, follow the signs to the Coach Station and wait at Bay 19. You will need to show your barcoded receipt card to the driver. The bus will stop at the entrance to our carpark, please collect your keys from our reception- Our team member will direct to your car, ready for you to drive straight home.

It says £5 for additional passengers does that include a 1 year old cos it’s 4 adults and a 1 year old There are still 5 passengers so an additional charge may still be made.

Hi is the shuttle still running to the airport?Yes the transfer bus is still in operation.
