No problem with FHR - the booking was easy but then we needed to change. A phone call and done with easy and courtesy by the operator. To and from the car park was good until we tried to get out of the mid-stay park and after inserting ticket it came up we owed £207!!! We had to get the operator via the tannoy but the button was very inconspicuous. The operator made out I had hit the button for a ticket which I had not and even if I had £207 for 8 days I don’t think so. Eventually after some minutes checking our pre booked and paid for confirmation we were let out. Others appeared to be having problems also. Not the best way to end the holiday when all we wanted to do was get home!! I I would use it again because of its convenience in the hope that there was a system blip and all will be OK next and future times.

Prepaid ticket makes parking and picking up easy. You keep control of your keys and know where your car is parked so you can choose where you leave it (under lights or in quieter location and/or near to bus stop)

Easy to book, electronic registration, clear directions however once in compound not too clear as to which car park area to use, frequent shuttle bus to drop off and pick up, easy to exit.

Booking process was good and parking too, but we had problem when we collected the car. Once inserted the ticked into the machine it claimed £92 outstanding balance. I spent 20 minutes there talking through the inter-phone trying to sort it out. They were having problem finding our booking, in they end the let us go

The experience was ok but we had difficulty going out of the barrier when we collected the car for some reason. The car park is conveniently situated and the pick up and drop off system very good, no problems with that. The price could be better though!

The car park was well signed and easy to find. Easy transfer to the airport using the shuttle bus. On our return in the early hours today (03.06.16), after a 9 1/2 hour flight delay. The shuttle was very prompt and there was a very pleasant lady driver who explained which zone she was going to first and called out the bus stop numbers so nobody would miss their stop.I will use the mid stay car park again.

Received everything expected transfer shuttle bus came very quickly and returned us in good time also. Bus driver extremely lovely gentleman asking me about my holiday excellent manner to him. The only downside to the stay was the actual price paid. I live a 3 hour drive from the airport which cost a fair amount in fuel (especially with traffic) would have liked to have paid less to park for the time we stayed.

Great, easy to find, didn't have to wait to long for the transfer bus. Just a shame when leaving, at the barrier my ticket did not automatically let me through so I had to ask for assistance. But hey great valve. Thanks.

Directions for e-parking Mid Stay
You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.From M11
Please exit the M11 at Junction 8a and follow the below directions Follow the road for just over 1 mile and take the Stansted Airport exit. Branch left, and then at Bassingbourn roundabout take the third exit following signs to Mid Stay car park at the next roundabout take the first exit. The Mid Stay car park is situated immediately in front.
Directions from Cambridge - Please exit the M11 at Junction 8 and follow the below directions Take the A120 exit to Stansted Airport, At Priory Wood Roundabout take the 3rd exit, then merge onto the A120, Branch left, then at Bassingbourn roundabout take the take the third exit following signs to Mid Stay car park at the next roundabout take the first exit. The Mid Stay car park is situated immediately in front.
Arrivals Procedure:
Your registration number will be recognised at the entry barrier and a ticket will be printed showing your registration and booking ref. If a ticket is not issued automatically, please press intercom button for assistance. Do NOT insert Credit Card. Transfer from car park to terminal: Take the 8-10 minute courtesy bus shuttle to the terminal. Buses arrive every 10 minutes and are available 24 hours per day
Return Procedure:
On arrival follow signs for 'Buses to Mid Stay car park'. Courtesy buses are located at the Mid Stay parking bus stops in front of the terminal. Please tell the driver where you have parked (i.e. Zone E, Bus stop 3). Drive up to the exit barrier. Insert the ticket that was issued on entry to the car park. If you have pre-booked
*** DO NOT insert Credit Card at the barrier as you may be charged again. The barrier will open and you may proceed out of the exit. If you experience any difficulties, please press the call button for assistance
You need to give us your car registration number either when you book, or sometime before you go. It needs to be the right one - if you change the car you're going to be travelling in, you need to give us the new details.
Please take proof of purchase with you on your day of travel.
At the discretion of the car park you will have a 4 hour grace period prior to arrival and a 6 hour grace period on return. If you arrive or depart outside your booking period, you will incur an additional charge based on Stansted Airport's standard tariff - If you pick your car up early, we can't give you a refund.
