Edinburgh 3 Star Super Saver Rate

An excellent recently modernised room very comfortable and warm. Nice pillows and a good sleep. Breakfast in the morning was OK but the sausages were not to my taste. Car parking adequate depending upon where you can find a space.

The rooms are adequate however the double bed is very small. However for one night after a tiring flight it is ok, longer stay and it would not be very good. The included breakfast sets you up for the journey and has a good selection but don't expect the full English. I would use it again.

This is now Holiday Inn Express. The hotel rooms have been refurbished to a good standard as have the public rooms. Bar food reasonable as regards quality and price but I miss the former Bon Auberge restaurant. Good value for money

It was easy and I set off on holiday after a good night's rest instead of a last minute dash. I wish I had done this before. Still have to complete journey so if sun shining in Edinburgh, my car safely still at hotel and it starts then I will be a happy lady

Hotel had overbooked as it had been taken over by another hotel chain. Put me into the Hilton a taxi there breakfast in the morning, then taxi back in the morning for my car, still a good service would not put me off using again.

Spectacularly good service from Andrew behind the desk! Having pressed the wrong button during an online booking attempt,I was convinced I had made a mistake with my booking. Fortunately Andrew's knowledge rectified the problem within five minutes. In addition, as it was near Easter, the hotel's long stay parking was extremely busy and would have involved a walk of around quarter of a mile in each direction to the nearest parking place. Once again Andrew came to the rescue and managed to find us a place within an easy walk of the hotel. As a result of his attention, you now have two very satisfied customers who will certainly be back for yet another night at the Holiday Inn Express at Edinburgh airport when the need arises - good service deserves to be recognised! The only negative issue is something which is without the hotel's comtrol, namely the route from the shuttle bus drop off point to the airport terminal. It is extremely poorly signposted. On the way to the terminal, the indication is to go into the multi storey car park - where the signs end. Get it wrong on the return from the terminal by taking the obvious covered walkway and you are faced with crossing the main access road and a climb over a fence to get to the bus pick up stance. Not the fault of the hotel as all shuttle bus operators have the same problem but something which really needs to be addressed.

The Holiday Inn Express is great for an overnight stay. Rooms food parking are excellent and bus pick up very good. We are staying there again in june and would recommend this hotel to any one. Bill Blackwood

Hotel excellent - cannot fault it. Very helpful and friendly staff both at check in and early morning at breakfast. Car park needs a bit of attention though - less or smaller potholes would be great as its not easy wheeling heavy suitcases from the hotel to the car.

Value for money but prices vary widely. Good location/easy transfer - why the need to charge £1.50 per adult for transfer? Restaurant menu limited.

hotel staff friendly and helpful, room was clean and well presented we had every thing we required for a comfortable night sleep before setting out early the next morning.The continental breakfast had a good choice and was just what was needed for an early start.The long stay car park was handy being just across from hotel entrance. the shuttle bus picked us up in front of the hotel and we expected to be droped off right in front of entrance to airport but the shuttle only went as far as the long stay car park at airport,this left us with a long walk which was very stressfull for my husband who had to stop often to catch his breath,the return pick up was the same. It should be made clear that the drop off and return pick up using the hotel long stay car park does not drop off at or pick up at airport entrance.

From the arrival welcome to the pick-up of our car after 15 nights the service of the new Holiday Inn Express was excellent. The newly refurbished room was very comfortable and just what we needed before our travel. My wife and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for accommodation and parking at Edinburgh Airport.
