Just one of the many Hotels near Gatwick Airport available from FHR.
Check in was quick, we asked for a smoking room and you can smell smoke in the corridor but the room did not smell, the room decor was tired and could have done with a lick of paint. The room was clean and we had a comfortable night. We did not eat but had a few drinks at the bar, prices were reasonable for an airport hotel, £11 for a double g&t and a pint of larger. carparking was included in the price

Did what it said on the label. Ease of parking and transfers were excellent. Hotel a little tired, but excellent value for money.

The hotel is tired and run down. The main reason I booked it was because it ran 24 hour transfers to and from the airport, and unfortunately in the few weeks between me making the reservation and my stay the late night service had been stopped, leaving me to organise a taxi. Parking facililities are OK and the staff were generally friendly.

This hotel is in need of some updating. Room had wardrobe with sliding doors that did not work! Room was quite noisy with road traffic. Used leisure facilities which were ok. Changing rooms very small. Food was alright but no system to the layout. Considering the amount we paid I think it was acceptable for a 1 night stay. Easy to find unlike some others we have stayed at!!

Horrible room with peeling wallpaper and very tired furniture and fittings. Buffet dinner was horrible. Unless price is your only concern, don't use this hotel!

Value for money. We were looking for 2 weeks parking and an overnight stay included. Hotel served our needs. Only disappointment was finding that our last shuttle bus times had changed but we soon phoned for a taxi and we were on our way. Definitely will use this service again.

Very friendly staff - always welcome at stressful times such as prior to air travel. Rooms quiet and comfortable. Nice to see my car in the same place as when I parked it (not so with other overnight and holiday parking hotels). Recommended!

The hotel was good we found the transport only running only 1hour on our return from the Caribbean was to long to wait as we only missed it,it passed us,we did wave hoping it would stop, bit it carried on and we had to then have to wait 1 hour. With having had over 9 hours flight, then having to drive another 3 hours to Lincolnshire we was not to happy having to wait in the cold for 1 hour .

Hotel a little tired but value for money cannot be faulted. I checked in very late and had the surprise of receiving a suite - it was huge. I only used the room and car parking so cannot comment on the food. Reception staff were helpful and the transfer bus to and from the Airport operated to the advertised times. I would use again.

Have always stayed at the Europa maybe two or three times a year, good value for money. However the bus service runs a different route now and we went at rush hour in the morning. Caught heavy traffic and got to North terminal a lot later than time table. Bus fare is now £3.50 per person each way and now pay driver. Hotel will organise a taxi for £11.00 each way that goes the old route along the motorway.

Family of 5 stayed at the Gatwick Europa prior to flying. Extremely good value for money - the accommodation was fine, didn't need to be great as was a pit stop before flying the next day. Car parking for 15 days and accommodation great value. Transfers to and from the airport went very smoothly. Great service - thank you.

We have stayed here before and thoroughly enjoyed, it is good value for the money and breakfast was good, room was adequate and was good to have option of leisure centre. Our only problem was not 24 hour bus service which cost £17 pounds fir taxi on way back, not massive problem and we did not have to wait at a bus stop. Hotel a bit dated but comfortable.

It suited its purpose for us as we needed a cheap room with 15 nights parking before a long haul flight. Hotel rooms quite run down and damp smelling but as we had only paid £80 we didn't expect much anyway. The return bus fare was £15 for the two of us so that did bump the price up a bit. Will book again with FHR as we know what to expect and the prices are low!

We had a family room which overlooked a running fountain throughout the night, not good with young children. Hotel looked in need of decorating / upgrading although you could tell that when it was built it was towards the upper mid range. Food (evening meal) was in truth below average, all options on the carvery / buffet were very salty. Draught lagers were warm and not thirst quenching and soft drinks were loaded with ice. All drinks were in our opinion over priced Parking was pretty much a "squeeze in if you can " arrangement with lots of vehicles on lawn areas. Overall, was value for money if you are prepared for a low class hotel and unsecured uncovered parking, in our opinion it is not 100 % suitable for families unless you want to turn up, park car, sleep then leave for airport.

The booking was smooth as was the transfer and pick up from the hotel. The hotel itself was noisy and the bedroom bunk beds not kept in good order. The bunk bed had so many slats missing that the top bunk was unusable and as such my children had to share a bed. The slats that were in place had graffiti on them. I paid for a room to sleep 5 and got 3 1/2 beds as the put up bed mattress was so used the springs where unbearable to sleep on and had to lay another mattress on top to allow sleep. I adviseD the staff before leaving, not much response. I would like to book again, but feel for the cost paid it's not as good a deal as I thought. I would request a partial refund.

Hotel basic but ideal for one night stay. Staff helpful. We booked an evening meal in the restaurant but found it was really not worth the money ,the food was very bland and not much choice. The bar meals were much better value. Transfers and parking were fine. Have stayed her before and will visit again

The price was excellent and the room was also fine. Basic clean and fit for purpose. The only criticism would be that the carpets in the hotel and the outside space need sorting. The carpets were stained in the bar area and were in a bad state. The outside space was unkempt and could have been lovely with the fountain.all just tired and needing tlc. We havr stayed at russ hill begore and wish we had kept to that one which is supposed to be less stars but rooms and public areas are so much nicer. Still the europa was fab value for parking etc so still quite happy

Very disappointed that after waiting for an hour for the transfer coach , my mother in law who was part of our party was told she could not bourd the bus as she was in a wheelchair it is bad enouhh only having transfer coaches only once every hour when other hotel transfer coaches were coming and going every 15 -20 minutes . I am utterly disgusted that the hotel has this prejudice attitude especially as the transfer couch took us to the airport for our outward journey . We will not be using this hotel again as we are all very disappointed.
