The car parking at this hotel was a nightmare. When we eventually found one, we booked in and the reception staff were very polite and helpful. Our room was an adjoining room , which was obviously locked as there was only 2 of us but it meant we could her everything happening in the other room. We got little sleep!

The hotel staff were very helpful and efficient . The room was very quiet and comfortable and good check out time as we arrived about 1.30am [from night flight] The only thing is it was a very long walk along corridor/s pushing open fire doors when loaded with luggage, and you have to carry luggage up the stairs to begin with. having said that it was fine for us. The Taxi service to and from the airport was also excellent

Hotel was out of date needed a good dust ceiling beams looked as if they had not been cleaned for years. The hotel needs updating and a good clean and painted to look much brighter dark wood needs to look clean and be kept dusted. Room was comfortable but again needed painting and updating to look bright. Had a meal in restaurant which was part of the booking deal rolls were like rocks food was not labeled and when I asked for cheese and biscuits after main course was told had run out and was waiting for a delivery. We had booked a early morning wake up call for the airport which we never got. It was good job I had set the alarm on my mobile as a back up otherwise we would have missed our plane and to add to this the cab the hotel had booked to take us to airport never arrived as luck had it another couple let us share their cab to get to airport. Was disappointed with the hotel very dated. The staff were very polite and helpful but would not stay in hotel again.

Hotel was easy to get to. Check in staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, beds were comfy. Reception staff arranged a taxi to collect us and there were no problems. On return, again hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Car was safe. Will definitely use again. Good value for money!

Lots of activity around the hotel and it is difficult to find A PARKING SPACE UNLESS YOU ARRIVE EARLY AS THEIR ARE LTTERALLY TOO MANY CARS PARKED whilst people are parked up whilst away so it can bea bit fraught. I had to park a bit haphardflyto begin with but luckily I found a space the next morning to park whilst I was away. The place is a bit basic but that was all we wanted but not exceptionally clean and bits of mould showing in places. Very handy for the airport but really do need to sort out the parking even if it means providing longer term parking nearby to alleviate the situation. Difficult to state whether I would park there again due to this problem. This I s the beginning of the busy period so what happens from now onwards.

We booked a double and got a room with 3 twin beds. There was absolutely no parking spaces available to leave our car. We had to abandon it on the edge of a drop -very badly parked due to the lack of spaces. There were cars on the road outside the premises. Staff were not very helpful. Room needed refurbishing and updating. Not very clean.

Booked 2 x 5 bed family rooms which actually only had 4 beds in each. 2 x singles plus a set of bunk beds. However we top n tailed a 3 and 4 year old in one bed and used a travel cot supplied by hotel for youngest member of our group so it worked out fine. Room was very good size but bit shabby in places. Very adequate for one short night though as we were up in middle of night to take pre-booked taxis to airport at 3.30am. Hotel reception arranged the taxis for us. Beware of extra costs for this. Taxi is £9 or £13 each way depending on group size. We booked hotel, airport parking and dinner option. We were very happy with all elements and it was at a very good price. Plenty of choice at buffet restaurant including full carvery. Yum yum! Great start to out holiday and we even got to drop our cases at airport night before we travelled. Bonus!

The room they gave us was very cold and draughty, we had to turn the radiator on ourselves and it took sometime for the room to warm up. The most critical point was when, in the early hours of the morning, my wife tried to have a shower and she got burnt. No way you could control the water temperature, either very hot or freezing cold. She had to dry herself without been able to rinse. I was unable to have a shower myself. It was a very dangerous situation, a little child could have been severely burnt. We had an early flight and we could only report this to the front desk before leaving. he didn't seem too bothered by our complaint.

We had stayed before and enjoyed it, so happy to stay again, however we were not informed that the hotel was being used for accommodation for those seeking shelter. It just ruined the whole experience for us, and felt a bit strange. However these things need to be done, so can't grumble, we are privileged to be able to live freely and travel, and are aware that I guess hotels like this will be used for such during the current time. Room was smaller for four of us than my husband and I had for two but adequate. Dinner was very nice, buffet style and plentiful. Quick check in.

My husband and I have been going to this hotel for approx. eight years and have never had any problems until recently. At first there was always a welcoming out of season fire to warm the bar area, biscuits and hot chocolate in the rooms and a reasonable transfer system to the airport. All this has now gone. We went to the Europa this January, no fire and it was cold, apparently the chimney has been condemned. The Hotel was full of migrant men awaiting Government assessment, they were sprawled all over the couches sleeping in the bar lounge area and it was impossible to get a decent seat. We felt very uncomfortable, not to mention threatened. The bar meal we ordered was cold and we could not get out of this area quick enough. The wall paper was hanging off the walls in our room quite badly. Our room was cold as the heating went off on a timer. Morale seemed poor with staff who pointed out that no maintenance was being done on the hotel as they believed it was going to be sold for development. Would we ever go back there - NOT ON YOUR LIFE.

I was very disappointed with our overnight stay as the photos on the website showed a light airy clean hotel which was far from the truth. Thankfully I only had to stay one night otherwise I would have looked for alternative accommodation. The entire hotel looked dated and tired with staff attitudes to match. One couple made a complaint about the substandard food they'd received and instead of an apology the barman was rude and abrupt with them which wasn't what you wanted to hear in a public area with lots of guests around. The bedding was clean but he room needed a good vacuum and there were large dustballs behind the bathroom door. On top of that the neighbours were clearly up for partyng and we were kept awake from 12.30am until we had to get up at 3.45am - not pleasant! The shower over the bath was rusted and the dirt/mildew in the grouting was very off putting. The only good thing I will say is that the reception staff were very helpful and apologetic and dare I say almost embarrassed about the complaints - as if they had heard them many times before! I was grateful that the parking was ok for my 10 day holiday and felt fairly secure.

The rooms are very 'tired' looking, had to asked to be moved from the first room as none of the lights worked, the hallways stunk of cigarette smoke, the supposed carvery meal was only one type of meat, no real choice of potato or vegetable, soup was supposed to have been included but wasn't available..very poor quality. On arrival the foyer was absolutely packed with what looked like migraints which was very unnerving as a mother with 3 young children..all in all I would not recommend.
