Would of given 5 stars but arrived at 23.40 couldn't find anywhere to park defeats the object PARK and FLY receptionist said park outside on the grass we didn't squeezed into a space at 00.05 under a tree but for £79.50 for room and 15 nights parking it's good as long as you can park in hotel grounds .

Europa is a budget hotel but offers very good value when staying overnight and leaving your car there for the duration of your holiday. The rooms are adequate and provide tea and coffee facilities. The bar snacks are very reasonable if you want one and taxi to the airport is efficient and only costs £9.

The hotel was very basic, and very outdated. We had to treck to the other side of the boiling hot hotel to our room to find out our key didn't work. I didn't feel particularly comfortable there. The parking was ok, as long as you could find a space. There was no system to the car park with cars parked everywhere. If you're there for a few hours like we were, it's ok. I wouldn't want to spend any longer there. However it was v cheap!

The hotel stay worked well for my partner and i but you must be aware of the parking problem that exists at this hotel. Customers are encouraged to leave their cars for long periods of time while they are on holiday but the hotel has only a limited number of spaces and this must result in late arrivals not being able to park.

The only thing that was good about the hotel was the taxi service to the airport from it. The public areas of the hotel were dirty with chewing gum on the floor at reception as an example and filthy windows. The hotel room was just about acceptable in terms of cleanliness of the bathroom and bedding but the carpet was very unpleasant to walk on in bare feet. All in all a very shabby hotel that is well past it's sell by date. Shan't be staying there again as it really was a poor start to our holiday.

The Hotel was good and supported my family's needs. Car parking for the period was simple and safe and the airport easily accessed via the additional taxi service. We would use it again if flying from Gatwick

Didn't like the layout of the hotel, it smelt in the hotel also. my partner asked for a smoking room also, but thought there was a designated smoking area. However you could smoke anywhere in the rooms and the smell was awful. Including the covers and furniture. Overall would not recommend even for a night. Awful

Hotel and staff very nice. However the parking is a nightmare we really struggled to get out due to people parking too tight. It was a real struggle not sure we would use again as concerned we wouldn't be able to get our car out not sure what the hotel would do as nobody leaves their keys!!

I am sorry to say that I was very unimpressed with this hotel. The only reason for booking was to park my car near Gatwick whilst on I was on holiday but when I arrived there were absolutely no parking spaces available and the car parking areas around the hotel were chaotic and clearly hugely over-subscribed. I had to move my car at dawn next morning from the very unsafe position I had been forced to leave it in overnight. Only then did I manage to find a space I could feel any confidence in to leave the car whilst I was away, but I remained concerned that it was at potential risk from the chaotic parking forced on other car drivers trying to find spaces while I was away. The room we were allocated was also very sub-standard, with a bathroom sink that did not drain properly and an electric socket that was hanging from the wall in a very unsafe condition. This is the sort of thing one might expect in a Third World country but not in a major hotel next to one of London's principal international airports! Most astonishing of all was that the connecting door between our room and the adjacent room could not be locked in any way and at one stage after we had checked into our room, we discovered another family inside our room having come through from next door, under the impression that the beds in our room were part of their room's facilities! The reception desk eventually sorted out this mess by re-allocating the other family a different room but we still could not lock the intervening door because the locking mechanism on the door was completely missing! My overall impression was of a very poorly maintained premises, scruffy and badly run and (puzzlingly) massively over-subscribed. I will never stay there again.

Stayed here on 6th July enjoyed a good evening meal and cooked breakfast. Very good range of food, generous servings and helpful staff. We had a disabled room so very comfortable ground floor access. A very easy hotel to stay in driving wise as two minutes from M23 so very easy drive wise. The taxi collection was also efficient and a helpful polite driver who arrived promptly. We will definitely stay again on future flights out of gatwick airport .

Hotel was clean and staff very friendly however needs a considerable amount of updating as rooms very dated! We stayed on a particularly hot evening and air con didn't work so unfortunately we had a terrible nights sleep which was a real shame to begin the holiday. Shower also lacked any kind of water pressure so found we were left with a dribble. We regrettably will not be returning however purely due to the need of a refurb not anything else.

The Europa hotel is now very "tired" and in need of reburishment! The food offered for dinner also needs improving the buffet is not very interesting and I feel poor value. and that is your only choice, having said that we were only there for one night as are most people I would suspect so I guess they aren't too bothered in improving anything!
