Just one of the many Hotels near Gatwick Airport available from FHR.
Second visit to hotel which was fine and good value for money. First time parking at hotel which was no trouble. Shuttle to airport from hotel was on time and no problems. Only disappointment was on return that we had to wait almost an hour for shuttle bus as we were dependent on plane arrival, customs etc and no control over times. With other firms we have used we have been picked up within 10mins, after ringing them on arrival. After a holiday and flight we just want to get home so will be unlikely to use this service again, and will park at FHR car park.

A comfy bed for the night. Surprisingly the hotel did not want to hold my car key. It was an easy to find venue - off the motorway and turn into hotel approximately 500 yards after!! Accommodation was dated and smelled of tobacco slightly - but for £60 it was an undisputed bargain :0)

Cheap and cheerful, we stayed for one night before early flight, absolutely fine for what we needed. Hotel is clean and staff were friendly enough. We would use again.

As far as it went the Europa was fine. We had used it before in April last year and chose it again because of ease of access and the fact that the car stays where we leave it till we come back., and we keep the keys. This time we were on the ground floor - which was better for us- but the bed in Room 1143 was quite the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in! I did complain to the desk as we left though whether it was to any avail, who knows. The room badly needed decorating too.. It won't stop us using the Europa again, though I did caution my sister who is planning to book a room for mid-February, about the bed. We are currently deciding where to park on our next trip at the end of March, or whether we should stay overnight beforehand.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and as usual the room was clean, comfortable and adequate for our needs. Unfortunately, in the main bar/lounge area it was filthy dirty, children running riot and not supervised by family, loads of noise during the night and we actually complained when booking out and we were told that if we were delayed on our return we could have an overnight stay for £39.50 per room. I phoned on them on my return from the airport having been delayed by 1 1/2 hours and when arriving at the hotel to collect our cars they messed us around so we did not stay but drove home tired.

We booked two weeks parking and dinner for two on the night of our stay. The room was on the ground floor, it is tired but clean and functional. The is no wifi but computers are available in the hotel at a cost. The meal was a carvery which was reasonable. The is an IMAX cinema 10mins away which is a better way of wasting your evening rather than watch the five channels in the room! Second time I have stayed here. There is a gym and swimming pool £4 for the day that is ok! Overall not the ritz but good value for two weeks parking and a bed for the night! Bus runs every 20 mins to the airport!

Lovely hotel, near by for the airport and good bus service in the morning for travel. Only complaint is the parking, could do with markings for spaces as many cars took up to 2 places due to bad parking which made finding a spot more difficult. If they were painted clearly this might prevent other guests being in considerate

We booked to stay overnight at the Gatwick Europa with 14 days parking and a meal for five of us on return. Which seemed good value. The outbound strip was fine, car was parked, shuttle bus to airport, very easy and stress free. When we arrived back we were given the key for room, on opening the door, the room smelt of damp, the carpet was wet, our first impression was what a dump...the hotel in general, needs a make over and a good clean! Reception quickly changed our room and said they would ensure the fifth bed was made up, it wasn't in the first room! The second room was better, but again it all needs some TLC. The meal was a carvery, which was just ok, I hadn't realised kids eat free when we booked, so in hindsight would have chosen the bar meals as they seemed a better option or as others advised us to driven into Crawley and eaten there. The lesiure facilities were optional extra charge, which we paid for the kids to use the pool, the changing rooms were filthy, wet sodden papers, leaflets strewn on the floors, used razors left, but I think that said more about the people using the facilities than the venue. I wouldn't stay there again, in fact we tried to get our money back and drive home that night, but couldn't and thats the downside of booking through a third party.

Room was large and comfortable. Evening meal was poor - we ate late and had to make do with what was left. Parking was very difficult. All marked spaces were full, rough ground used as an overflow car park was also full and in the end we managed to find a space overhung by trees. There was no one available to direct parking or offer any advice in locating a space. I would definitely not recommend this park and stay.

We arrived at the Hotel at 2pm only to find that the Bar was cleaning the pipes and that this would takes several hours, so we were limited on drinks, bottles only. We then requested food, and the Chef was not back until 6pm for Dinner, so we could only have Sandwiches. Not very impressed with this. Other than that, service was good and hotel very clean.

It is a bit run down compared to the last time I visited it. The hotel needs a bit of decorating and 'cheering up' e.g. the bathroom had some mould in it and the extractor fan did not work.

We would have prefered to be at the Europa Hotel, where we originally booked, for the convenience of the location. Only complaint is when we returned at 11.45pm we had to wait until 12.40am for the next bus back to the hotel, where we were booked for that night as well. The bus previous had gone at 11.20pm. So there was and 1 1/2 hrs in between buses, which I felt was a long wait.

Hotel easy to get to, tired but very good value for money. Self service buffet style good with plenty of choice of main course, little choice of starter and pudding but again value for money.

Hotel looking a bit tatty, not a bad rate through FHR parking, which was totally disorganised but certainly wouldn't pay normal rack rate.
