The Europa is a modern hotel located by Junction 10a on the M23 and is part of the Britannia chain of hotels.

All rooms have en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee tray, TV, direct dial telephone and hair dryer. Family rooms for 5 have 1 double bed, 1 bunk bed & 1 "Z" bed. Latest check out is 11.00 at weekends children sharing a room with adults must be 16yrs or under. WiFi Free in public areas. Available in every room, 2 x 20 minute complimentary sessions per day, unlimited access £7 per 24 hours.

This hotel was in a bad disgraceful mess. It smelt awful. The bedrooms are really tired looking. Certainly needs updating. The rest of the hotel also needs updating. There were people smoking right by the entrance there were cigarettes butts everywhere. Staff had not cleaned this up as it was still there in the morning. I certainly will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

Awful reception welcome.. said something about punching them in the face if we wanted to check in !!! I was shocked , restaurant was appalling hoards of children running in from a coach and no supervision... when approached staff to say food all gone, no structure to kids pushing around us they didnât seem bothered, food came out but was cold. Room ok ish... but cold and toilet handle falling off. Dirty bannisters up stairs and dirty carpeting . Staff seem deflated... someone was complaining about a stone found in food and one staff members wasnât bothered when we handed over a lost customers room card. Hotel needs an overhaul and the staff team need a strong manager. One very helpful staff member on the upstairs bar... put everyone to shame !

This is probably the worst hotel Iâve stayed in !!!. Bar was dirty and grubby and staff can hardly talk English. Do not stay here !!

We booked 2 rooms. The room that my wife and I stayed in was very cold,the central heating was not working and the small electric radiator was not doing the job. My wife and I caught cod and that affected our holiday.We requested the change of the room but there was no other room available. My daughters room was acceptable and they did not have any complaint..Also the electronic keys were nightmare and we needed to visit the reception few times ( every time getting in the queue)

In urgent need of renovation. Parking and outside area a mess. Understaffed reception, long queues waiting to check in. Food very basic, breakfast was a huge disappointment - would have been better to wait until we were at the airport! Bed & towels were clean but they are about the only plus points. Bathroom tiles covered in mould spots, broken light bulbs not replaced, television didn't work. Third time we have stayed there in last three years and its gone from cheap and cheerful to unacceptable.

Hotel and car parking was great, taxi service to airport was also good , only downfall was three lads in room next to us and they were extremely rowdy shouting swearing slamming doors from midnight til 2am which wasnât good as we had to get up at 4am but not the hotels fault hasnât put us off and we are staying there again in a couple of days

Nice friendly hotel. The room was a bit of a trek and outdated with too much furniture in it. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Car Park was quite full but I managed to find a space quite near to hotel. Price was very good Â£48 something for 1 night accomodation and 6 nights parking. Not too far from airport. Would use hotel and car park again

With effect from 06/02/23 this property will no longer accept CASH. This includes bar, restaurant and car parking.

From M25: Leave M25 at junction 7 for the M23, exit the M23 at junction 10A, right at the roundabout, Europa Gatwick is approximately 100 metres on the right hand side.

From Brighton: Take the A23 north to Crawley,(A23 changes to M23 after J11). Exit the M23 at junction 10,take the 4th exit off the roundabout to go back southbound down the M23. Exit M23 again at junction 10A, right at roundabout, Europa Gatwick is approx. 100m on the right.

Where is the summer long term car parkIt is at the airport and transfers are provided to either terminal

We are arriving 16th November and returning 2nd December, will the car be definately parked at the Hotel? Is it safe in the car park?The hotel cannot guarantee that the car will be parked at the hotel as it will depend on how busy the car park is.
