The Europa is a modern hotel located by Junction 10a on the M23 and is part of the Britannia chain of hotels.

All rooms have en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee tray, TV, direct dial telephone and hair dryer. Family rooms for 5 have 1 double bed, 1 bunk bed & 1 "Z" bed. Latest check out is 11.00 at weekends children sharing a room with adults must be 16yrs or under. WiFi Free in public areas. Available in every room, 2 x 20 minute complimentary sessions per day, unlimited access £7 per 24 hours.

Have stayed here many times. Easy access from M23. Convenient for Gatwick airport. Price good. Meals good. Long queue to check in. Don't like the artwork in the rooms.

The Europa is consistently the same, always clean and welcoming. Don't expect five or even four star but if you have the parking package as well it is terrific value for money. The bar is handy for the evening and the bar snacks very good value. We will definitely use the Europa when we next fly from Gatwick.

great value and near to the airport with reasonably priced taxi to and from the hospital - not keen on the restaurant, but we only stop overnight and go early in the morning so have never had breakfast there

Europa Hotel is very convenient for early flights from Gatwick. They have a discount arrangement with a local taxi firm who are superb;punctual, polite and driving new, clean cars. The hotel itself is a little tired and scruffy but the rooms are large enough and reasonably clean and well-equipped. All you need for an overnight stay and nothing more!

The room smelt of damp. The corridors had a very pungent smell. We paid for evening an evening meal which was average.We also paid for breakfast arrived at 08 15 there was scraps of dried up bacon, mushrooms was unrecognisable, no tomatoes, in fact 70% of breakfast was missing. I spoke to one of the staff and asked if replenishments was due to which the reply was soon.We waited twenty minutes and still no show.Other guests was complaining to staff about inadequate choice of food. After waiting we gave up and left. To say it was one of the worst breakfast we have had is an understatement IT WAS THE WORST BREAKFAST EVER.

As others have said the Europa, is dated and pretty basic, but we were only staying one night and it was perfect for what we needed. The rooms was clean, the staff were very pleasant, so no complaints from me. We basically got the room and parking for a week, for the same price as a standard off airport car park. The taxi to airport was good value and very quick. The return journey was no so smooth, but that's not the fault of the hotel as taxi company are separate, but charge very favorable prices as negotiated by hotel, so easy to book on arrival at hotel.

Arrived at 10 p.m. only to be told room was being decorated sent to another hotel with directions that were difficult to follow an d because it was down tree shaded lanes the sat-nav kept losing the sat signal. Overall the trip took about 30 mions then after booking in it was 11.30 we had to get up at 3.00 am. So not recommended at all.

I got to this hotel only to find out that I had no room as they had booked it out .why they never emailed me or phone and left it to the day I was flying the told me they had book me other hotel and they would give me a bottle of wine for the inconvenience I had booked this hotel inavance I would not use this again

We had driven for over 5 hours from Plymouth in Devon only to arrive at this hotel and find that the car parking was an absolute nightmare. We drove around the car park for ages trying to find a suitable space all to no avail. My partner went to the reception to find out what was going on and we were told that there were two options. Either we parked on the grass verge outside the hotel for up to 24 hours and then tried to find a parking site inside the hotel grounds once, hopefully, someone had left, or they could cancel our booking!!! What an attitude. Would never book here again, and would certainly never recommend it to anybody else!!!!!!!!!! We have given the hotel a one star rating, because this is the lowest rating possible. Would have given it a negative rating if we could.

For parking value this is absolutely fine but the accommodation is very uncomfortable, dated and basic. We had a terrible nights sleep on very old, hard mattresses!

Hotel ok. Parking was very busy and very lucky to get a space. Don't know what happens to cars that don't find somewhere! Ideal for night before travel parking. Cant comment on food as didn't use restaurant.

With effect from 06/02/23 this property will no longer accept CASH. This includes bar, restaurant and car parking.

From M25: Leave M25 at junction 7 for the M23, exit the M23 at junction 10A, right at the roundabout, Europa Gatwick is approximately 100 metres on the right hand side.

From Brighton: Take the A23 north to Crawley,(A23 changes to M23 after J11). Exit the M23 at junction 10,take the 4th exit off the roundabout to go back southbound down the M23. Exit M23 again at junction 10A, right at roundabout, Europa Gatwick is approx. 100m on the right.

Where is the summer long term car parkIt is at the airport and transfers are provided to either terminal

We are arriving 16th November and returning 2nd December, will the car be definately parked at the Hotel? Is it safe in the car park?The hotel cannot guarantee that the car will be parked at the hotel as it will depend on how busy the car park is.
