Description of Holiday Inn in Gatwick

Holiday Inn Gatwick Airport is just five minutes from the Airport. There's an excellent range of facilities and services for business and leisure travellers, inc. Free High Speed Internet Access. Family rooms have plenty of space and kids under 13 eat for free. Shuttle service runs 24 hours, every 15 mins 5am and midnight, every 30 mins through the night.

All rooms have en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee tray, interactive TV, free high speed internet access, radio, trouser press and hair dryer. Day rooms available. Family rooms for 4 will consist of a double bed and a double sofa bed.

There are four suitable rooms in the hotel, available on request. Please advise at the time of booking.

Parking Arrangements

Drive to rear of hotel and park in short term parking. If you have booked the standard parking package your car will usually be parked on site in the hotel car park, however at very busy times, at the hotels discretion, your car may be moved off site to Maple Manor Parking. You must leave your keys at reception when checking in. Vehicles are left at owners risk.

Additional Days Parking Charge

Additional days parking are subject to availability and charged by the hotel at £16.00 per day

Airport Transfer Details

The Shuttle Bus runs 24 hours per day every 15 minutes and every half hour from midnight to 5am to both terminals.

Transfers are charged at £3.00 per adult and £1.50 per child each way, (under 5's free). Taxis can be arranged for approx £6 each way.

Eating & Drinking

The Restaurant offers a Carvery and an A la Carte Menu. Set Menu is £20 for 3 courses. (Menus can change depending on the volume of business, please check the offer proposed on the day). Light meals and snacks are available in the Hub Bar and Lounge area.

Breakfast Charges

Full English breakfast is £15.95 per person, FHR clients can purchase voucher at reception to get special £12 per person rate. Between 6am and 10am.

I have given your service 4-stars for the reasons shown at 2 below: 1 - It was very easy to book online before our holiday. Even though initially I made the wrong choice of hotel, I mixed up the two Holiday Inns, your staff were extremely helpful over the phone and made the correction. 2 - Upon arrival, the hotel staff dealt with us efficiently excepting that the young lady on reception did carry on a private conversation with another person before she took any notice of me. I was kept waiting for approximately 10 minutes and felt as if I was a burden to her social life. 3 - The hotel was comfortable all that could be expected. 4 - The bus service to and from the terminal was efficient and ran on time. 5 - Arrive back at the hotel after our holiday, the hotel were very efficient in dealing with the paperwork so we could get on our journey back home. 6 - We will use your service again.

Hotel staff were very helpful. Was bit worried when saw cars parked everywhere but found space and car was waiting in good spot when we returned. Hotel and room were very clean. Bit of wait for bus to pick up on return and lady driver stopped for cigarette! Overall very positive and would book through company again as lady on the phone when booking was very helpful.

I have used FHR many times coupled with booking the Holiday Inn at Gatwick. So far, I have never had a problem. The check in and check out is always seamless. The hotel staff are always pleasant and helpful. The price is very competitive for what you get and the hotel to terminal and return journey on the transfer buses is very easy and convenient. I would recommend booking through FHR and would recommend the Holiday Inn at Gatwick for an overnight stay.

The airport lounge we booked through you company, was a great experience. We have flown many times from Gatwick airport never thought to use the lounge before, the service we received was second to none. Hot coffee and bacon rolls' first thing in the morning was a good way to start our holiday. We will definitely usevths service again.

Very good service, comfortable room and reasonable prices. The only complaint is that there was no free Wifi. I feel that in this day an age, travellers need to have access to the internet. Â£5 per hour for Wifi in a hotel is very unnecessary and unreasonable. Would have been 5 stars but for this glaring omission!! Holiday Inn should rectify this immediately.

Always use FHR for booking the Holiday Inn at Gatwick. Easy to book online and a great price. You arrive and park your car at the rear car park and hand your keys to reception before you leave for your flight. Hotel is clean and in a great location a short ride on the bus to Gatwick for Â£6.00 return.
