Airport Inn Manchester

It was not made clear I would need to pay for the transfer to the airport The rooms were dated, cramped and not very clean When booking with children it would make sense to offer rooms on the lower floors rather than making families travel up 2 flights of stairs as there is no lift

No problems at all easy to find taxi on time both for pick up and drop off . Hotel good with helpful staff , the only thing is the parking was full with one space left and the other cars had parked over there space . Would of liked larger parking space but we all would I suppose ! We had a great time in los vagus Xxxxx

We have used this hotel many times as is it very good value and the staff are always very helpful. The tranfer to the airpost are always on time when goingto the airport but there have been a couple of problems on the retrun trip, but this is not the falut on he hotel.

We have stayed here previously , this time arrived and they said problems with the parking and refered us to a sister hotel, that was a few more miles away. The hotel was ok,but was longer to the airport, and the return journey and to get to the motorway took far longer. If they cannot accomodate for the parking should have been notified before the day. On this occasion felt rating was not good.

Hotel was changed at short notice. Queue to check in was terrible, it took us over an hour. When I finally got to the front of the queue the lady couldn't deal with me as we had changed hotel. I had to wait for someone else to become free, then he had to go away to make a phone call to get us put onto the system! Another 20 minute wait with our toddler....! Eventually we checked in and got in the lift. As the lift doors opened the smell of damp was over whelming. Our room also smelt damp. it wasn't until I got up after not sleeping due to having an asthma attack all night that I realised that the carpet was sodden and mouldy. I told Callum at reception but not even an apology. The car park wasn't secure and there were no marked spaces. It was too dark to see if there was any damage on our return. Our Shuttle bus to the airport turned up at 4.30 am, but we hadn't been booked on it. Eventually after speaking to the hotel a taxi was called and turned up at 5am. On our return we had to wait 3/4 hour for our taxi to turn up. When I phoned after we had picked up our bags I was told it would be a white ford transit. It was a black car.. maybe our original hotel would have been the same, but still disappointing and a waste of money.

Would have been higher, but the e-mail with the address on was incorrect and we ended up driving round for an hour trying to find the place. Complained when I arrived and showed the desk clerk, who agreed it was the wrong address.... But did nothing else. Not a great start to our holiday especially with two young children

Another great value for money hotel and parking, very conveniently situated, good transfers included in price. Hotel clean and comfortable, will definitely use this hotel again, had a few reservations about booking this time as change of ownership but every bit as good as Holiday Inn. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, have no complaints.

very adequet hotel for our needs room a bit small but you get what you pay for. did not use the hotel for food as we were recommended to a lovely pub up the road called the Honeybee (i think) it was wonderful food was excellent. very good transfers the only niggle was the exit barrier that was a little tricky but apart from that we were more than happy.

i found the hotel comfortable and good service until we got back to Manchester and had problems getting transport back to hotel which was very disappointing after a long flight back

Booking process with FHR very convenient and the adviser provided excellent service. Hotel parking and transfer service to and from airport punctual and efficient. Hotel room on small side and looking rather worn although clean and rather noisy as overlooked hotel entrance and busy road. Hotel staff attentive and helpful.

Stayed at Holiday Inn Manchester Airport on the way back from holiday, with car parking. Arrived back at 1.30am, good transport and welcome from hotel staff. Nice comfy bed. Highly recommend.

Having stayed at this hotel before, we were not disappointed. Hotel and rooms clean and spacious. Staff are friendly and taxi to airport punctual and hassle free. The staff were extremely helpful on our return, when our car battery was flat and they kindly jump started it. Would definitely use hotel again

We arrived holiday inn near Wilmslow evening of sat 19th October.Excellent customer service at reception , parked at long stay parking.Booked early morning call and airport transfer no problems.Evening at the bar nice atmosphere.Transfer to airport on time 6am arrived airport and realized i had left my jacket in the room , rang hotel and Gareth on duty efficiently went to the room retreaved jkt and sent it with the driver on the next transfer bus sup.erb service. Arrived back at airport 1wk later rang tranfer no.arrived within 10 mins excellent.thank you fhr and holiday inn

The hotel stay on 30/7/13 was very good - excellent Receptionist but bar snacks were very expensive!! When we were dropped off at the airport the next morning we were told we would be picked up at the same place outside Termihal 1 when we phoned upon our return after we had landed and collected our luggage. We phoned but the man answering the phone was very vague and offhand and said they did not pick up outside Terminal 1 and we had to find our way to a destination we had never heard of and we had to ask at the Information Desk. This was actually outside Terminal 1 as we were originally told. We then had to wait 40 minutes in the cold and rain for a car to come to pick up. Certainly not as good as previously - we have stayed at this hotel several times and never had a problem. Food was poor when we got to the hotel and had a meal before we drove home for 2 hours. I had to complain. Very disappointing experience at the end of our lovely holiday..
