Description of Crowne Plaza in Manchester

The hotel is on the airport complex. All rooms are air conditioned, there are four dining options, inc. an oriental restaurant & within the hotel there is a gym.

It couldn't have been better. Arrived at the hotel, parked the car and got booked in. The person in reception was polite, friendly and efficient, The room was very nice, ( far better then the room at the hotel we stayed at last year, no names, but it's next door ), no problems at all. On our return, we were collected within minutes from the airport and straight back to collect our car. Will book with this company again.

As usual the hotel was excellent.Great nights sleep. Hotel were good day before too dropping us off to do bag drop at the airport and picking us up again. When we arrived back in Manchester waited maybe 10 mins to be picked up. Couldn't fault the service.

Very good, left the car and the holiday began. Room was small but nice, had a nice meal in the Irish pub and a couple of beers. They forgot our order but without complaining they gave us a free drink. Only concern was on the return, you ring for the bus and it turns up quickly but they do not take names so it's a bit of a free for all to get on, they only have 8 spaces

Friendly competant staff, room was clean and comfortable although quite small . We had dinner with friends in the restaurant, quality of food and wine exceeded our expectations. Shorta shuttle bus to airport, car was waiting at hotel on return, would use this service again and recommend to friends.

Although the arrangements had changed since booking in terms of having to take the car to a secure park rather than leaving it at the hotel (not FHR's fault) the process was easy as the park was only a mile from the hotel. FHR kept us informed of the new process and were extremely helpful and apologetic even though it was out of their control. The hotel accommodation was comfortable and staff helpful and the transfers to the terminal easy I would book again.

Hotel good but after booking we were informed onsite parking is no longer available. You now have to be shuttled to an offsite car park. The one they use was not very convenient. When you come back through arrivals you have to make your way, with your luggage, back to departures where they pick you up. There's a lot of choice out there and Id be unlikely to choose this one again.

Nice hotel, a very comfortable stay, but as booked a stay and parking package I've scored low due to the parking situation. We spent 50 minutes trying to find the car park so not a good start to our holiday. When we rung them from the airport they were quick to collect us, but the wrong vehicle was out ready. Why fill in a form with all the vehicle details, flight details and arrival time if the car's are not out ready. The old system of leaving the car in the hotel car park and it being delivered back was far better for us. The hotel next door do this! Pleased with FHR, but no longer pleased with Crowne Plaza.

Exit the M56 at junction 5 and follow the signs for Terminals 1 and 3. Go through 2 sets of traffic lights take the 1st exit at the roundabout the Crown Plaza Manchester Airport is located on your right.

Can I get to terminal 3 via walkway from crownplaza plazayou will have to go outside to walk to termnal 3 from the hotel, they do provide a free shuttle bus that ca take you to terminal 3.
