Was brilliant...drove up...barrier lifted...parked car. Then on return again drove up..barrier lifted...then we were on our way home.. great experience with no problems whatsoever. Definately reccommend.

Parking at EMA always very good - cark park recognition makes life a lot easier. Had a potentail problem with the flight back from Glasgow BE555 yesterday so potentially arriving back at EMA after the 6pm deadline - rang the number on the booking doc (Manchester) & the gentleman was most helpfull & advised exactly what to do so a big thankyou to him (sorry I didn't get his name)

Efficient entry, perhaps some signing where available spaces are would be helpful. Problem wth exit took 3 attempts at barrier to recognise my number plate even though I had pre paid. Not sure why but not what you need late at night.

Very easy to find, entry and exit no problems with. Only problems were finding a space because it was almost full and if raining no cover when taking the long walk to and from the terminals.

No hassle. ANPR read reg. Number and opened barrier for entry to car park. Shortish walk to departures. On return again ANPR read car reg. And allowed egress.

Good to be able to park very close to the terminal building. Available spaces were quite scarce and narrow. The number plate recognition for entry and exit worked well.

Directions for Short Stay 3

You cannot get a refund or amend a parking booking less than 72 hours before the day of travel. For example, your last opportunity to change your package, if you're flying at 3pm on the 10th, will be 23:59 on the 6th.

Important

During hot weather we recommend that removing all alcohol-based hand sanitiser products from vehicles when they are not occupied as they pose a risk of igniting and causing a fire.

Getting here
On arrival at the airport main entrance, please turn left at the roundabout and then follow signs to Short Stay 3.

If using sat nav please ensure you input the following coordinates exactly in order to reach the entrance: N52.823814 W1.333670

On arrival at the car park:
Drive up to the entrance barrier for your chosen car park and stop
The Automatic Number Plate Recognition system (ANPR) will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you and subsequently open the barrier to allow you entry
Please DO NOT press for a ticket to gain access to the car park, as this is not required and doing so will disable the ANPR system in relation to your booking
On exiting the car park:
Proceed straight to the exit barrier and stop
The ANPR system will read your vehicles number plate, verify this against your booking details and the barrier should then open automatically. Please note, this process may take up to 30 to 40 seconds to happen
If for any reason the barrier does not open after this time, please press the Assistance button and a member of staff will confirm your booking details with you (which will be the ref. starting EH in the comments section of your voucher) and subsequently open the barrier to allow you exit
Please DO NOT in any circumstance insert your credit card or debit card into the barrier as a further payment will be taken
