Vehicle registration was recognized on entry and there were no issues when exiting the airport on departure. The only issue was that we had to drive round the car park for about 10 minutes on arrival looking for a parking space along with around 20 other cars.... This gave the impression that the car park was over subscribed...

Good value, Turn up, go through the barrier and hop out the car. What could be easier? Return just as easy. The airport is an easy access from M1. Departures and Arrivals just a very short walk away and on the flat. Would highly recommend.

We would definitely recommend parking here at Long Stay 1. It was so nice to get off the plane after a long journey and know that we only had to walk to the car and not hang around waiting for buses. It was worth the extra money. The only down side was that people had parked inconsiderately so when we drove down aisles we couldn't exit or turn around so had to reverse all the way back.

Very easy to find and no hassle on entry or leaving the car park also nice to just have a short walk to and from the car rather than having to wait for bus connections.

Car park was convenient for walking to airport and booking via BookFHR was simple and good value, however, number plate recognition did not work on entry or exit and we had to wait at barrier for a reply to the 'assistance' button on both occasions. As we walked out of the car park I could see another customer having the same issues.

Price was good - the car park didn't have my details when I arrived and also said I wasn't booked in. They did kindly lift the barrier. Upon return, the barrier didn't lift. I did pass on my reference number and they said that was OK So a good price but a lot of messing about

Easy to find. Was not too clear on the instructions as it gave me the impression that I did not need a ticket, but I did, as the gate would not open without getting one. Perhaps it was just me being thick...

Price was good but car park was verging on full, thus we had to park quite a way from terminal. Would of been better off parking further away (50%cheaper) an catching the shuttle bus. The car reg wasn't recognised on entering an exiting the car park so a delay happend whilst help was found an booking info given an confirmed. We use fhr very often and to be fair this is the 1st time we have had such a problem.

The car park itself is good. Very near the airport, good parking surface, no problems. The annoyance for me is, after booking online, my registration is supposed to be logged on your system, so I can get a ticket on the way in, then submit this on my return. Easy. In 4 trips to your car park, THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED! Every time, no ticket is issued on my arrival, and I have to get assistance to get out. Annoying, but not enough to go elsewhere.

Online booking easy and efficient. Car Registration number recognition at barrier on arrival worked well and ticket raised barrier on departure with no problem. Have used FHR before and certainly will again.

Arrived at the car park and was unable to find a space. After driving around for 10 to 15 minutes we finally managed to spot a lady walking to her car so we waited for her space. Meanwhile the other 5 cars also looking for a space had to keep driving around. The car park seemed overbooked to us with people having to park in spaces that weren't designated spaces due to lack of availability. Upon arriving at the gate the camera was unable to pick our registration and on leaving still didn't seem to be working properly as it was telling us the amount to pay was £70.00. The whole idea of booking parking on the airport is that its stress free, which on this occasion it wasn't. A disappointing experience!!!

Generally good. Just a problem that at East Midlands they didn't seem to have details of my booking. I therefore had to ring through from the barrier, both journey legs, to explain.

Difficulty in gaining access when entering & departing (barrier not responding when ticket entered). Car boxed in by other vehicle parked directly behind at right angle. Expected Car Park 1 to be closer to terminal.

The car park is within easy walking distance of the airport which is very convenient. Entry and exit were straightforward although the car park was extremely busy and there were hardly any spaces. The parking spaces are very small and our new Kia Sportage had two small dints on the passenger side when we returned as there is not enough room to get in and out of your car especially if it is slightly larger than average. This was a really bad end to our holiday and no liability is accepted for any damage that occurs to your car in the car park which is very disappointing.
