What is the drop-off procedure?

Park in one of the bays outside the reception, then head inside to the check in desk . Show your confirmation and the staff will allocate you a parking space and you will be given a receipt. You can then take your keys or if you prefer you can leave your keys if you prefer. The courtesy bus service will then take you to Bus Stand 7 at the terminal to the terminal.

What is the pick-up procedure?

On your return after you have collected your luggage and are leaving the terminal call the number on your receipt for a pickup and make your way to Bus Stand 7.

What security measures does the car park have?

I am a frequent flyier from Edinbrugh (every 2 weeks) and I have never left keys for my car with anyone before, When i booked low cost, I didnt realise until on the day that my keys had to be left. That said, I was delighted with the service, and delighted with the friendly drivers who like to chat and have some banter (unlike the other carpark drivers!!) I was also pleased to see my car had the correct milage on the clock (you hear horror stories that people drive vechiles when left unatteded) and that it had been well looked after. My car was also positioned at the exit on arrival with a gentlemen waiting to give me my keys, and after a 3 hour flight delay, this was very comforting. Dispite this the horror stories, and dispite my reluctance to leave my keys, I am full satisfied and will have no hesitation in booking low cost parking again. Well mannered, presentable and cheap - Win Win Win.

Parked car and jumped in bus to airport. Same on way back, called and waited 5mins on bus. Well worth paying a bit more money on this carpark than the self parks.

You can leave your keys and your car will be parked for you, or you can park yourself if you'd prefer

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed.

From the Newbridge roundabout:
Take turnoff for McDonalds (Clifton Hall Road) take 1st left into Harvest Road and go under the bridge and then take 1st left for Ratho Station (Harvest Drive) follow the road around for 400 yds and take 1st left into Queen Anne Drive and pass the Newbridge Bond and the car park entrance is straight ahead.
Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommended check-in time.

From Edinburgh and east
Take the Glasgow road heading for the Newbridge roundabout- just before the walk over bridge take 1st left into Ratho Station -take 2nd right into Station Road and then 1st Right into Queen Anne Drive ( just at SSE ) and the car park entrance is straight ahead.

Please note the transfer buses are not accessible by wheelchairs.

On return

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.
